I don't think any of the major posters are still taking in June, except Jackal. Maybe Zacbro (can't remember). Rest of us are postponing.whacka wrote:Where's everyone taking the test? Wouldn't it be funny (if unlikely) if some of us had the same center? U of R for me.

Well I'm gonna be gone for a week starting June 13th so that's 1 week I don't have to worry about.Seamus887 wrote:I'm sure well get heaps of lurkers joining us in our anxiety and impatience.whacka wrote:Dang the waiters thread is gonna be lonelyRZ5646 wrote:I don't think any of the major posters are still taking in June, except Jackal. I feel stuck in the 166-169 range. I've had 3 scores of 172-175 range, but they were like 5-6 tests ago. Starting to get nervous they were outliers.

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
I've been browsing this forum for a couple months now and find it a helpful resource, but the idea that most people here are elite scorers and much smarter than average is silly. The posters here consist of a small minority who have gotten elite scores and a large majority who WANT to get elite scores. RZ is in the latter category and has been for over a year now.zacboro wrote:And this is why no one likes you. Okay.RZ5646 wrote:Why aren't you using Adblock?TheWalkingDebt wrote:What does everyone think of the TestMasters banner at the bottom of the thread page? It's interesting the improvements they choose to highlight. I feel like 146 to 161 is not a very large jump all things considered.
And prep courses aren't for smart people. I'd almost say that if a prep course seems like a wise investment for you, you shouldn't go to law school.![]()

I mean, that's mostly because I'm lazy and haven't actually taken an official test yet. I'd say the more recent half of my PTs have all been "elite scores."hawksfan15 wrote:I've been browsing this forum for a couple months now and find it a helpful resource, but the idea that most people here are elite scorers and much smarter than average is silly. I also don't really understand the relationship between the quoted material and your comment. There was no claim about what proportion of TLSers are "smart" or "elite," so you seem to be in straw man territory.

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
I'm one of the ones HOPING i don't have to revert to the October thread. So I'm registered and ready to do some damage (preferably not to my ego) at South Texas College of Law in Houston.
Latest PTs have been in the upper 160s with an outlier of 173. Going to start doing two timed sections back to back to beef up my endurance in these last few weeks. Aiming to make that outlier the new average (insert determined face emoji).

I remember you from a while ago, did you postpone from Feb like me? I'm also in about the same place with my PTs and am hoping it all comes together in the next 2 weeks and I'm not back in October.AtticusRising wrote:I'm one of the ones HOPING i don't have to revert to the October thread. Yeah, I postponed in Feb and I remember you from the thread as well. I'm glad I did. I feel like I'm in a better psychological state now where the possibility of me not scoring 173+ isn't making me get cold feet. I'll work hard on eliminating my weaknesses and not worry about having to retake until I have to. I hope you're feeling better this time around too!JackelJ wrote:I remember you from a while ago, did you postpone from Feb like me? It's because you're not that good at the test and unconfident about how you're going to do. Accordingly, you postponed until October so not sure why you're still posting in this thread.RZ5646 wrote:I mean, that's mostly because I'm lazy and haven't actually taken an official test yet. Anyone on TLS can claim that they've scored high on some PTs. It's a convenient way to win the respect of other TLSers. But these claims of eliteness cannot be verified and in many cases are suspect.
A great example is you boasting that "my LR average is like -0.5". That would mean on every LR section you miss either zero or one. I call bullshit on that.

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
Lol I can't believe someone made an account just to complain about me. I feel so special.
I just looked it up and on the 3 PTs I've taken this year I missed 4 LR questions, so that's an average of -0.67 per section... sorry I exaggerated a little
Listen to Zacbro, my friend: we're all in this together; no need to get salty.
