I felt the same way after my BP classes ended. But then I entered the world of self-studying where I tried other materials and learned that blueprint is deficient in some ways. A lot of their explanations on the videos and homework are lacking a little. Like for a decent amount of the homework problems the explanations are just like "this is the right answer because it fits" and doesn't explain why the 4 others are all wrong. I also found other strategies that worked better for me. Like their RC notating is just way too much for me. Don't get me wrong, I thought the course was great and gave me a very solid foundation and I'm happy I took it when I was just learning the ropes. However, I'm benefiting from other material and lots of drilling.brusselsprouts wrote:That said I don't think BP gets enough love and credit on TLS, but I'm biased.

I've taken to ripping up any section that I do badly on, and I advise you all to do the same (after confirming what went wrong of course)

jesus fuck RC in 74 fucked me so hard. That last passage is a disgrace to mankind.
LG-2 (0)
LR-3 (1)
RC exp
LR-6 (3)
RC-9 (fuck this bitch)
165
Thank god I don't have to do that RC again. I missed 4 in a row on that last passage. I didn't miss freakin one until #15 then all hell broke loose.
I can see why medians are dropping. They can go to hell with a -12 curve with that RC section.

I'm retaking 73 in sections, thinking I would remember most of it so I shouldn't waste a full sit, and I'd say my recollection is somewhere between 3-4%.Dirigo wrote:These two things aren't related whatsoever.ilikebaseball wrote: I can see why medians are dropping. Douse yourself inperfumeart and relax. Did you improve from December (you took it right?) at least?

Check that, I got a 166, I accidentally skipped 3 LR near the end...
Edit: Nope. Didn't get any better. Surprisingly I did fine in the perfume art. I must've misunderstood the entire point of the mexican american passage. Like, its a solid score if I understand that. I completely effed that whole passage up. Its going on the review list for damn sure.

I didn't think it was even hard when I was doing it. It seemed like really straightforward to me. I must have COMPLETELY misconstrued the point of it. I literally missed 22 24 25 26 27. If I get that passage right, that's literally like a 169 maybe 170

Yeah...I feel like I've noticed this as I'm reading through Manhattan LR right now.. I need to be better about forcing myself to read through all the explanations for each possible AC. I do think BP does a great job of putting together homework assignments to really build skills, though, and since I started when I didn't know the test at all it was ideal.nlee10 wrote:+1JackelJ wrote:I felt the same way after my BP classes ended. I started drilling on my own at the beginning of the month in addition to finishing up the course so I hope the combined self-study at the end gives me a boost. And obviously I'm reading Manhattan to strengthen my LR, which has been beneficial but I wouldn't suggest to anyone that they start doing that while still learning new concepts through BP.

Sounds good. I've done some games 3 times already and each time still helps. So don't worry too much about running out.gamerish wrote:For whatever reason, I'm really afraid of running out of games for drilling so I wanted to make sure my drilling process was okay. It pretty much goes:
