I changed two correct answers to wrong answers, missed one on LG somehow, that combined with the brutal curve really killed me. Here's to 175+ in September though.

The idea that we will be taking the test together for real and slapping the bag afterwards gives me hope for the 170+ I know I can make. <3Barry grandpapy wrote:Seeing the lurkers come out today makes me realize how much shitposting potential is still out there. Guys, think of the possibilities.

What's the consensus re: Powerscore LR Bible versus Lsat Trainer? After getting -5 I'm really thinking about giving Kim a chance. I've read through Powerscore twice now and am largely ambivalent about how it's written.

Definitely give Trainer a try. I didn't really like how Powerscore was written too but found the Trainer considerably more accessible. PS is really great at getting granular which I think helped give me a solid base, but the Trainer helped me tie it together and apply it. I never got amazing at LR, but it was good enough for me.saltshaker wrote:What's the consensus re: Powerscore LR Bible versus Lsat Trainer? Any thoughts on blueprint LSAT or what is the better company of all of the online courses offered?principalagent wrote:Definitely give Trainer a try. Nope I'm from Seattle. I do love it here, but the Bay Area has always appealed to me as a Seattle with nicer weather and happier people (I think).creed wrote:Same dream here, bud. Are you from NorCal?
Best of luck on the test, and thank you for your service.
With a 3.9, you really should be aiming 170+. But either way, you'll go to a great school. Well done.
170 has always been the hope, but I tempered my expectations a little bit once I started studying for real. if I see steady improvement over the next couple of weeks, I certainly wouldn't mind aiming for a 170+!
And don't thank me - I haven't done squat yet. But best wishes to you as well! God willing, I shall arrive at S right as you graduate from there haha.

Checking in. Got 4 points lower than the lowest of my last 5+ PTs. In need of liquor, a hug, and a solid retake study plan

Ok guys, I need some input. I got crushed on LR (way more than normal) and I really need to shore it up. Have used 7Sage and the Trainer, what should I buy to whip myself into shape?

Checking in with June being my lowest score since the diagnostic
. hoping to make up the points and get back to my PT average but I'm really discouraged at the moment.

Do they normally release the June test for purchase before the Sept/Oct test?

Re: The Official September 2017 Study Group
Right now I'm going through the bibles and the trainer at the same time. Has anyone else done this or is this not a good idea because I'm combining two different self-study routines. For me, they seem to be complimenting each other well. I'm following some of the online plans for each respective guide and they do a pretty good job at cementing a lot of this information into my head because I'm getting a double dose with some slightly different approaches.

I'm planning to give the Trainer a go. I just ordered it on Amazon tonight after I got my score.

Nice! I have the trainer and like it a lot (going to go back through it). Do you have anything else on your retake shopping list? I was thinking about 7 Sage and/or Fox. Maybe the manhattan LR book? I mostly did the powerscore bibles this last round.Ntp73821 wrote:It'll all be ok, we're gonna crush it this round!QueenBAYder wrote:Checking in. Got 4 points lower than the lowest of my last 5+ PTs. I used 7sage for LG but I don't have enough money right now to buy the Ultimate membership. I used mostly the Bibles last round too... I didn't find them THAT helpful, I liked 7sage a lot more for LG at least. The Bibles were good for me foundationally I guess.QueenBAYder wrote: Nice! I think I'm just going to try the Trainer and see how I feel after that. By some sick twist of fate I went -2 RC -2 LG and -8 combined LR. So I guess I need to work on my LR, which I always considered by strong point.

I highly recommend 7sage for LG. There are REALLY great explanations for every logic game.texas96 wrote:Looking for retake advice!
