Beat the 175 at long last. Which is good, because that means I can finally let myself watch Legally Blonde.

Killing the game!!!!
I'm about to take PT 77, so I hope I can match your score.
Thanks!!

Good luck! you're gonna leave us all in the dust.

My results from this AM--fresh, clean, never tampered with, virgin prep test: 176 (-1/-2 LR, -1 RC, -1 LG)
Now it's Tort's turn to show up Alex and I with a straight up 180. Good luck guy!

When you guys are drilling your weak areas? How many consecutive correct answers does it take for you to generally be like "OK I get this shit now"? just curious how long I should spend drilling weak question-types

Dope score! Proud of you, cuz. Which PT was your exp from?
Thanks Mikey!!

experimental was 54.4.
Ahh ok. I was just curious to see if some of you used very old sections or more recent sections as your exp

I do usually use old sections (trying to save the newer ones for PTs obv.) But I didn't think I had any old sections that I'd never seen before readily available this morning.

The real question: will I do better on that PT, or the draft tonight?

Definitely the HYS of draft picks. If you aren't in the first three draft spots, no way you're gunna get a look at him.

Honestly, I'm past the point of drilling question types. That worked really well to get me from the mid-160's to 170 or so. But, at this point, I find I understand the mechanics of all the questions.
Now, success at the margins is more a function of being able to clutch-shift-gas between question types in the heat of the race. So, I end up trying to get into a flow or a rhythm--drilling skill sets don't seem to transfer to this skill-set. Hope this makes sense.

probably half and half. sometimes I'll be at the 16-17 mark by the time I finish #15. if it's hard I'll be at 18:00 but never past that. 15 in 18 is still good time as long as the questions that are slowing you down are indeed difficult questions and you aren't just staring at a question or something.
I am one of those that's usually never at 10 by 10 or 15 by 15 mark. I am usually 10-12 min for 10 q and 16-19 min for 15 q. In some cases I have been even at 20 min mark for 15 q.
Somehow q16-20 go faster for me in 7-8 mins than expected.

I'm having trouble seeing the correctness of credited choice of 77.rc.q1. anyone understand this?

- Psg only supports that ftp's nunits came closer to founding national black theatre than anyone else, not that they did found one. C says it founded perhaps a national black theatre. I eliminated C due to this distinction.
Hey guy, so now that I've knocked out this PT, time to look at this.
- [+] Spoiler
- As I see it, answer C leaves itself an "escape clause" from this argument by using the "perhaps" verbiage. Meaning, "maybe they did and maybe they didn't. It's possible." It's not like there's a black line drawn on a map somewhere that, once you cross it, you are officially labeled a "national theater". It's a spectrum with a lot of grey...but, they were in 28 states. Some might say they classify as national. Others might disagree. But, we can all agree they came close. "Perhaps" they made the first national theater program.
(You can also solve this by POE because all the other answers are way wrong.)

Seems like after struggling to attain scores in the upper 160s and low 170s, my brain is firmly settled in mid 160s. Just took PT67 and ended up with a 164.
LR: -6
AR: -4 (That last game threw me for a loop, had trouble processing the set up for a bit).
RC: -8
My pacing is pretty solid, the only thing that hangs me up in that regard is when AR has an unfamiliar scenario. Not giving up, but I'm getting to the point where I'll be okay with any RC score that gets me 20+ points. It'll be pretty disappointing if I get a mid 160 score knowing that at some point I was capable of considerably better than that. :\

Interesting stuff
- [+] Spoiler
- Yeah I saw "perhaps" but had an issue with the connotation of language in the psg. I posted the following earlier about it.
------
I thought "came closer to founding X than anyone else" has a connotation or inference that they attempted and came close but didn't really found X. So it seems a leap to say that it's same as " founded perhaps what was X", which has an opposite connotation which is that they likely founded X.
I dont know, is this a settled issue about connotation of the stmt in the passage?
Im not sure if there is consensus on whether these two statements are same in meaning or have opposite connotation among experts, but I thought the latter. I see why other choices are no good, but MP questions have such choices that are eliminatable per lsac standards if the two statements above don't have exactly the same meaning.
----
Also the psg says "until recently, nunits were little studied". Assuming this to mean that nunits are studied well or recognized now, which C says, will be a mistaken negation of what passage says. I mean, the passage describes good things about nunits but that doesnt mean they are being recognized now.
these things made me feel not so good about this q. This is fun anyway.
