Makes sense. I prob should do that just in the interest of best usage of time, rather than indiscriminately BRing every last Q.

Damn, 1.5 per section? Thorough af. It takes me about 35 minutes to an hour to BR one section, depending on how well/bad I did. LG is quick, LR takes time, and RC takes daysmsp8 wrote:You must BR suuuuper fast. Cuz there's no way I'd have time to BR all that in a day. Avg LR section takes around 1.5 hrs for me to BR.m27 wrote: Did 3 individual LR sections, 3 RC, and 1 LG today plus BR errthang. Checking out for the night
I try to sleep but my head is like nope, thus more TLSF

ilikebaseball, nah, I need to change a fair bit to get the improvements on RC. Pretty frustrated there. And if I can save time on BRing LR in the interest of more time for RC, all the better.
What do you do for BRing RC?m27 wrote:

Re-read the passage; bracket the thesis, supporting evidence, key terms, and viewpoints; then make sure I understand the structure of the passage. For questions, go through all of them again to make sure I have a reason to eliminate every AC and select the CR based on something I read. I'm really trying to take it slow with RC review because it's my weakest sectionmsp8 wrote: What do you do for BRing RC?

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
since it is so close to game day I would say start holding back on the questions you looked at and practically circled TCR right away, start focusing only on the ones u weren't really sure of to try and save some time. That thorough of a BR is awesome, tho getting close to game day you don't wanna use up so much time throughly reviewing questions your don't really have problems with when you can better use the time improving elsewhere imomsp8 wrote:Makes sense. I do most, but not all of that, so I'll incorporate the rest of that stuff (bracketing thesis, supporting evidence, and just generally spending more time on structure) into my BR process. Thanks a lot!m27 wrote: Re-read the passage; bracket the thesis, supporting evidence, key terms, and viewpoints; then make sure I understand the structure of the passage. I generally take my time reading the passage again and make sure I can find the exact spot where each question is answered... I dont really mark up the passage though I'm sure it would probably helpm27 wrote:Re-read the passage; bracket the thesis, supporting evidence, key terms, and viewpoints; then make sure I understand the structure of the passage. Those are the scariest gameszacboro wrote:Ughh, woke up at the ass crack of dawn to do this 5 section PT before my 11 o' clock class. On break now. Supplemented PT 43 RC section as exp in sec 2 and IT WAS KILLER. There were 28 questions and it was just difficult. I don't know if I was still waking up or what. Anyways, still got a LR section and a RC to do after break, then class, then BR for the rest of the day. PS, the real PT I'm doing, PT 63, has the EASIEST LG section ever. The first game literally took me like 4 minutes. It was so easy that I was confused. I was like "nah, there's NO WAY it was that easy!"

The scariest games are the ones where you get to a question that doesn't make sense, then you look back and the issue is a mistake in the rules.
Although when you see a 4-minute game you know something big and bad lies ahead...

You right, Big Red.
I'm taking a rest day today. Only going to do a LR section and a few games. PT in the morning

Gawd I feel like Manhattan LR is taking me forever
if I don't finish by Friday I'm gonna be screwed. My school schedule is seriously a lot harder than I expected and it's only the second week.

HAHAHAHA I just did PT 74 games again and they seemed simple. Its amazing what nerves will do. I didn't even finish in time on test day. Today, I finished in 29 minutes. Its not like I've ever reviewed it before or even remembered anything from it. Just a heads up for all you first time takers..SIMULATE TESTING CONDITIONS. NERVES ARE A THING.
