Does anyone recall a TLS policy about getting banned for posting test questions?.

I've had "Beyond Good and Evil" next to my bed for about 4 months, haven't touched it haha. I go through phases where I read a lot then phases where reading seems like such a task. Waiting to get our scores back before I commit to any books, though.Ntp73821 wrote:I was planning to read some Nietzsche this summer too! Unfortunately, yesterday I was feeling nostalgic and bought the Sims 4 because it was 50% off and now I'm unsure if I'll manage to do much of anything this summer

I had this exact same section pattern and remember the question. A little upset that the LR section I thought I did best on was experimental, but my first section is usually my worst according to prep, so maybe this was for the best.f59c4FvD wrote:Does anyone recall a question
Also this confused me when others said "the 26 question LR was real" because this first LR section was also 26 questions, but I think the second LR in LR/RC/LR/LG/LR was the real one.

If your section pattern for the test was LR RC LR LG LR, the first LR was experimental.f59c4FvD wrote:Does anyone recall a

Me too. I was pretty confident with LG and now I'm doubting it more and more. It's like, did I circle them correctly? Did I somehow miss a rule and got a game all wrong? What if I chose e and blackened d? And on and on. For LR2, will definitely get at least 2 wrong because I left them blank, and now I start doubting not only the harder questions (abuse of power, those "identify the role" questions, etc), but also the more doable questions. LR2 was my hell--really wished the experimental LR was the real LR. Can't remember much about LR1, so now starting to doubt that one too. For RC, 2-3 questions that I likely got wrong, and now I'm wondering if I misread something and got the rest wrong.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:At the point where the score I think I got is dropping every day
I think I should just bite the bullet and register for September at this point before the seats in the area are filled up.

Um, didn't watch either of them so IDK. I never moved or tried the buy-side, so my knowledge is pretty limited.Future Ex-Engineer wrote:Is it anything like Billions? The reason I actually asked is because I just finished season 3 of suits, where Mike becomes an iBanker, lol (my god has this show gotten awful as it's progressed). I realize it's television and so you must take it with a grain of salt, but iBanking does seem to be badass. I browsed on Wall Street Oasis for a few minutes, and as presumptuous it may sound, the consensus seems to be that the "the bankers own the lawyers" lol. It is indeed true most transitions are probably from law -> banking and not vis a vis.Future Ex-Engineer wrote:Is it anything like Billions? Oh gosh. If anyone here hears that you might be taking anything from Suits as truthful, prepare to be executedLesPaul1995 wrote:The reason I actually asked is because I just finished season 3 of suits, where Mike becomes an iBanker, lol (my god has this show gotten awful as it's progressed). I go into suits readily aware that what I'm about to watch is ridiculous. I can hardly bring myself to watch it anymore.Future Ex-Engineer wrote:Oh gosh. I'm kind of surprised at how many people have asked me if the LSAT is hard. Like a couple of my friends who know I've been studying since January asked me if it was hard. And I don't know why they think that it might be easy anyway.

Same :/ There's no section I feel I really fucked up for sure, but there's none I feel very confident about either.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:At the point where the score I think I got is dropping every day

Exactly how I feel (aside from LG). That RC was pretty tough, there were a handful of tricky LR questions that I'm just unsure about so I'm thinking I overestimated my initial performance. I said 174 but I'm feeling more like 170 and a retake nowJack_Kelly wrote:Same :/ There's no section I feel I really fucked up for sure, but there's none I feel very confident about either.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:At the point where the score I think I got is dropping every day

You have no idea how happy I was to see that as the science passage. I already knew what dowsing was (thanks mom for teaching me about it when I was a kid for no apparent reason), so that passage was super comfortable/familiar. I think the hardest part about that one for most people was just how weird of a concept dowsing is. I lost count of the times people said, "But it's like memorizing vocabs right? Do you have to memorize law textbooks too?"MediocreAtBest wrote:I'm kind of surprised at how many people have asked me if the LSAT is hard. Friends with well intention said, "It's just a test. They aren't going to punish your app even if the score is low."

MBC, do you still have the data from the first "how do you think you did" poll?
Would be interesting to put another one of those up there later this week and see how the numbers have changed on predictions

Trying to restrain myself from quoting that mod edit... found it much funnier than I probably should have but i'm delirious from panicking about how low my score might be.

Hanging in there, tripling the amount of time i spend on TLS now that I'm not studying. Stressing out. Mostly stressing out and trying to tell myself that my score is fine.Mikey wrote:I have nothing to do today besides binge watch some friends because why the hell not

Weird, I learned about this in some history class I think in relation to the Homestead Act and discussion of the Dust Bowl... I thought this was part of history class in general for everyone until some of you were like THAT'S FO REAL? I feel like it was also in Huckleberry Finn which was required reading for one of our English classes in my school...
