It still looks the same as it did the other day to me? (eta, and prob don't quote in case he doesn't this up http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/m ... e&u=116153 )

Not that I was looking at his account the other day.
for me it doesnt say sweettort anymore, it's a bunch of numbers. and unless I'm an idiot and was wrong about those numbers all along, I thought that meant that the person officially got rid of the account by talking to someone
His name's been March 22 2017 since last Wednesday. ('Twas why I seppuku'd myself out of the waiters thread that day.)

I gotta believe he's coming back. SweetTort will rise again. Have faith and stay strong, my comrade.

Hey everyone! Hope everyone had an awesome day Long time lurker here, just had a quick question.

I'm currently in a huge slump.. So about a month or two ago, I finally broke a barrier and scored a 151 (157 BR), but then my last three PT's have been a 146, 139, and 143 (I'm still using the PT's in the 40's). It sucks because I know I'm capable of doing this despite my scores being below average (and probably really bad in comparison to a lot of the people on here), and because I BR in the +150's, but these last three have been a bummer.

I am a full-time elementary teacher, I've been studying since last summer, and I feel like i'm losing momentum and dragging this thing too long. I'm not in a rush to take in June unless I miraculously around my goal of 155+, so i'm currently eyeing September to apply and be enrolled Fall 18', but I would hate to push back yet another year.

Any suggestions or advice? Anything helps. Thanks in advance.

What is your breakdown (LR wrong, LG wrong, etc.)? What really fixed my issue was QT drilling and using either the Bibles or MH books to try and smooth out any holes in my game. I am also a full time worker, so I understand the struggle of feeling sort of burnt at the end of the day.

have you taken a break from studying? you might benefit from a week long break. I would also completely stop the PTs and go back to the basics: drilling questions by type, timed and untimed, and thoroughly reviewing each question. If you are trying to maximize your score it probably isn't a good idea to take in June. I'm on my phone right now but someone else might give a more detailed response.

Got an email congratulating me on my GPA of 3.90 or greater and inviting me to apply to fancy scholarships.
A cruel mistake or did they finally decide to drop first year.

I jest but I do wanna know if they're dropping first year from some of these GPA calculations. (shh yes I know LSAC won't)

Would they? As one thing I like about my UG is they count everything taken there (not courses I took in high school for college credit tho... I should add those) I figure your UG is doing the same. If you woke up to a 3.9/176upsidedown then you can probably bail on WE.

It was literally the smallest offer that they give, but coming off the waitlist I'll take it. Plus I will surely sound less "Chicago is better than you even at full price"-like when sending my negotiation email to Duke this week now that I have an actualy dollar amount to go with it. Chicago at basically sticker is essentially what I'm looking at now, though, so that commitment will have to hold off

You got something from Chicago tho, congrats!

Is there any other top school that you have gotten a very nice size scholly at?

Thanks! UM gave me 75k and Gtown (are they even top anymore?) gave me 90k. My numbers twin just got Gtown to bump from 90 to 135 the other day using a UT and Vandy offer (neither of which I have) but I'll see if I can butter them up anyways to eventually throw myself entirely at Duke's feet. If Duke doesn't yield, then I'll be taking my talents to the Windy City and going coat shopping

GT is going to be super desperate next cycle; I predict most people above 174 will be getting close to full. How much would Duke need to budge for you to bite, 50%?

I'd probably go if they matched UM if I'm being honest (don't quote me on that, I want more)

1. Where have you been
2. I don't want this to be digital
3. I'm totally taking a free PT
4. $100, sweet

edit: Oh thank Christ
LSAC is currently not planning to discontinue the paper-and-pencil LSAT. The Digital LSAT Pilot Test is being conducted as part of research on a possible future format of the LSAT.

1. Fam drama (I'll catch up on the earlier pages later)
2. Kind of agree.
3. I am too. Just signed up for Queens College.
4. I agree.

The only thing that would suck is getting a 180 on a test that doesn't count.
