I am not sure if this is the best advice, but I noticed that sometimes I end up doing this when Im struggling on a passage and it seems to work. Maybe it will help you, maybe not? But- Try just not using a method verbatim per-say and just read the passage closely.TheMikey wrote:Hmm, see, I knew I wasn't bugging out lmao. I feel like I got most points taken off on those 2 passages, although I haven't reached RC in my BR yet.proteinshake wrote:I went -4 on that section, -2 on P2 and -2 on P4Alexandros wrote:Can't remember the specific order the passages were in anymore but I felt like I struggled with this RC more than I usually do.TheMikey wrote:I just wish RC would CLICK for me. BR PT69 today. Anyone else who did this PT lately, did you find passages 2 and 4 kind of hard?? I felt like P1 and P3 were easy, and that P2 and P4 were tough af
Read the first 2-3 sentences of Intro so you get the gen idea, then read the body paragraph and conclusion. All while jotting a word or two next to each major area or circling a power sentence to show you where important items are in the paragraph. Then go through the questions and refer to those mapping notes.
Couldn't hurt just to try on a section and see how you do. Maybe you are stressing about the methods too much and for whatever reason thats why your not clicking. Its not that you suck at RC- you are obviously intelligent enough to do well in it, so try some different things and you will figure it out!
