I'm flying on the 1st. Gonna find the test center so I don't have to look for it, and also use that time to cement my sleep schedule. Bartending keeps me up till 2-3am 3 days a week. Then chillax and do some drilling in HK. Bar folk tell me I need to party and go shopping and I'm just like



Also if you're in Asia you probably use Wechat. I PM'd you my ID, add me and we could connect in HK? We can do a PT run, where both of us be the most annoying possible test taking neighbor. Gum chewing, excessively loudly ticking watch, sniffles, shaky leg, reading softly out loud...

Oh you're in SH? I thought you'd be in some other area of Asia and just going to HK. I bartend at Senator Saloon Wed-Fri. It's on Wu Yuan Lu and WuLuMuQi Lu, right in Jing An District. Like a 2 min walk from Chang Su Lu station, or 15ish mins south of Jing An Temple. We open from 6pm till like 2ish (depends, no hard last call). Also if you're down to do one or two proctored PTs, you have my wechat.

There are no test centers in Shanghai so you made the right choice.

The job is from hell (and because it's nonprofit the pay sucks). I feel like it's amazing preparation for BigLaw...although in BigLaw I'll be advancing my career, getting paid well, and doing something I enjoy. I think of these two years as my time in the wilderness. Something I'll look on with stern, world-weary appreciation in my memoirs.

Nonprofits. Oh, nonprofits. I would never.

You have no idea how true that is. Nonprofits are like a drug. I get so fed up with work, but then I spend an hour with some of the people we serve and I'm fired up and ready to go the next day.
