We are lsat twins....those are my worst LR types too.mist4bison wrote:Thought I'd be able to study, but I ended up reading about M4s & M16s all day. Plan is to go home and drill.
I think my focus the next week will be:
RC (in general)
MSS
Weaken
Nec Assumption
Those have been my most costliest types.

I believe I read back when I first started studying for the test....so it'd probably be good for me to reread them now. lol.dasani13 wrote:

I already went through the basic flaw chapters again and it makes so much more sense now than in July. lmao.

lol yeah, I had forgotten how much drilling LR and re-reading the Trainer helps. I think that was my biggest mistake during Sept. prep.

Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
Pathetically excited to read those chapters... I am also worst at NA and am planning on reading the corresponding info in the Trainer and drilling NA tonight. I never used the Trainer before this round of prep and am pretty impressed with it thus far.dasani13 wrote:nlee10 wrote:I believe I read back when I first started studying for the test....so it'd probably be good for me to reread them now. lol.dasani13 wrote:

haha, I feel like LR Flaw Q's are either really easy to spot or really hard to spot/AC reworded very confusingly.Jgoods wrote: I think its about that time to start on the RC grind... which I realllllyyyy don't wanna do lol

Why two practice exams in one day. Id rather commit seppuku. And why base it off one exam. You should address why you got that 158 . Then address the types of questions. Then drill.
Speaking of drilling ... I've been missing parallel q like crazy na imma do some more

Re: The Official December 2014 Study Group
Maybe you did better on the second exam because you were performing under pressure? Like unodostres said, go over the first (and second test) and address what caused the score.Peta wrote:I normally don't have that much time to study and wanted to make the most of my holiday.unodostres wrote:Why two practice exams in one day. I was demoralized because I also did terribly on another practice test I did yesterday.
Which PTs were they, anyway?

I'd focus on the more recent PTs (60+) in order to accurately gauge your average. The test definitely evolves over time!Peta wrote:The preptest I bombed was 46 from June 2005. The one I got a 165 on was preptest 55 from October 2008. I remember the LR from 46 being unusually more difficult than I'm use to, for some reason.
