Earlier to mid 90's gangster rap I like. Hip Hop is most of what I like from that general music style. Hieroglyphics, Deltron 3030, Tribe Called Quest, and Pharcyde are the bee's knees.

I'm out of touch with newer artists, but I just listened to Krizz Kaliko feat. Tech N9ne "Spaz" and I liked it. It's weird, and I like weird.

I don't like any music with words because I feel forced to agree/disagree with the singer. So that simplifies things considerably re. my taste.

Like as a kid of the 90s I would sing along to rap etc. because I liked the beat/voices but in retrospect I'm not sure I can any longer identify with a song that brags about armed robbery of pizza delivery men, regardless as to how awesome the rhythm is.

My thing is, if they're going to release them on the second (the first day after their holiday break) then they probably already have had the scores ready to release. SO.......................

haha, only if you're willing to put up with the occasional 80s power ballad I know Journey's not heavy metal but I listen to them a lot (such good songs to belt out when stressed!) Also, how do you feel about Black Sabbath? Rage Against the Machine? They're some of my fave bands ever.

I also really like classical. Stuff like Rachmaninoff, Handel, etc. I think it was Nightwish that really made me like the two extreme genres
