How are most of you studying for logic games? I get having the Trainer and 7Sage, but does anyone have any opinions on LG Bible and its relevance? Is it still worth using, or would Blueprint be a better method?

Haven't used blueprint but I would recommend The Bible. I don't do everything they recommend, but in conjunction with 7Sage, you can become a real LG beast.High Charity wrote:How are most of you studying for logic games? Before I started my prep, I had gone through the LG bible and a few other LG books (Manhattan, I didn't use a lot of their information but some of their strategies were helpful), and another random LG book I found online.

Soo I haven't done a lot of prep this week..
I did Chapter 2 in the Cambridge LG volume 1. I got one question wrong on one of the games, and got a perfect score on one game that I was really confused about. So the plan is to drill the hell out of the game that tripped me up using the Foolproof method.
For the game I got one wrong on, I caught my mistake in review-->it was a really stupid mistake on a very easy game (relative ordering)
Do you all recommend drilling that game (the stupid mistake one) or just move on and carry on?
And MSS is still killing my confidence.. Tomorrow is MSS day for me.

Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
Decided yesterday that I will be testing in June instead of February. I'd rather have a 170+ score that guarantees me scholly money/admission to a t14 vs. getting an average score in February. Not too excited about 5 more months of studying though.
I currently am using 7Sage and will be purchasing Manhattan LSAT's RC and LR books and the Blueprint LSAT LG book. I also have preptests 35-75 so i'm okay in that department. If anyone has any advice on other prep materials that I should get, please do comment and let me know or message me. Thanks

Thinking more and more I'm gonna be taking this instead of the Feb. LSAT
The later start time is a plus, too. I am so close to breaking through
I just need to keep practicing.

It looks like I'll be taking the June LSAT, so I thought it would be a good idea to join y'all in here.

Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
What's up family. Been studying since September for February but I came to the hard realization that I just won't be able to get good enough at logic games before then to hit my mid-to-high-170s target. Shame, because that's really the one thing holding me down, along with a little inconsistency on LR. So I decided to push the eject button before I burn any more PTs. Weird thing is I was consistently in the low 170s until recently, when I just started eating shit on LG (like -8 per section at least) and my scores dipped correspondingly. Too much uncertainty heading into Feb.
Gonna relax a little, enroll in a 7Sage course, spend a while with JY, and hopefully conquer this fucking beast so I can feel more confident going into June. I also think I was using PTs inefficiently by taking one a day or so; I'm not burned out but I wasn't analyzing each question as thoroughly as possible. Anyway, let's do this.
