They might raise an eyebrow, but if you explain that there was an issue on your admission ticket and you didnt even sit for the test they'd likely care less than if you had actually taken the test and canceled. Just speculating. Although I doubt they'd care if you ended up hitting the 180 on sept anyway.chargers21 wrote:That suckkkkkkkkkkksssssss. I feel you bro. It will count as like a "cancel" or whatever iirc. Might matter at Yale, but for sure elsewhere if you still hit your numbers and apply when scores come out from the Sept test, you should be fine

Did you use all 4 guides?archer grandpapy360 wrote:I followed TLS1776's guide. Between him Voyager, Noodley, and PithyPike almost anyone should be able to break into 172+ with 4ish months of studying.Ira Hayes wrote: If you don't mind me asking how did you get to such a high PT average?
The core of it definitely comes from -0 to -1 LG and finishing with 8 minutes of extra time. Along with -2 MAX wrong per LR. Personally, RC is still the wildcard that I can miss 4 in.
My usual (recent) breakdown goes: -0 LG, -0 to -2 combined LR, and -1 to -3 RC
I guess this extra time will help me nail RC
**Possibly more important is having a consistent study buddy. I Skype reviewed with someone on TLS since February. We probably BR'd 30 PTs together. We both borrowed strategies that worked from each other in specific problem areas like principle, parallel reasoning, or inference RC questions.
Edit.

Billed 8.75 hrs and got an hour of studying in. A nap, 2 hrs drilling, and GSW taking game 5 would make today perfect

Maybe checking in? Depends on June results, everything rests on RC, and if I actually am going to not go on the vacation I planned to take and take the LSAT again instead...

What was their offer? I would lean towards the cheaper pending on placement preference.

PM me when you're headed up if you want and I can see whether anything up there is worthwhile to check out.chargers21 wrote:Whoa, the June test has brought some new faces in here. You should probably eat at CTB once, b/c that's what everyone does. Hit up the Farmers' Market if its open. The lake is worth passing by. The Piggery is great if that's still around. Commons are pretty worthwhile and I think grad students may go down there more often than undergrads.
I'd also check out some places to live that are still open if possible while you're up there. You may realize certain apartments look walkable or doable on paper, but they aren't. at all.

Re: The Official September 2017 Study Group
A bit of both. I was like 85% prepared-not quite where I wanted to be (thank you 3 jobs and full course load last semester). It was a perfect storm of under preparation, lack of sleep, and nerves. But I figured since it's a disclosed test I could at least get a better idea how I performed on a real test day even though I wasn't where I wanted to be. Now I'm not so sure I should ever let that score see the light of day. My timing was completely off throughout the first three sections, I didn't get it together until after the break.twiix wrote:yoyoyo. Do you think you bombed it? Sept and December will confirm. Literally had to hold back a physical/verbal celebration when I got to LG4 because I was 90% sure LG couldn't be my exp section.dj9i27 wrote:maybe we are in a new era of lsats? If the tests are like 40-50 I'll be pretty happy

I am by no means banking on Sept not having a weird game. IIRC Feb didn't and now June didn't so either Sept will be impossible or we are in a new era. LR seems to have remained constant as well with a tough RC passage.vtdelt wrote:Sept and December will confirm.
