You took a phone call and still got a 180???

Man. ive got some serious catching up to do.
I'd start bugging out thinking I'll get a 120 if I got interrupted during a PT unless it was for something serious lol

Nah I got 1 more wrong after that. It's more that the first 15 questions tend to be the easier ones that I can rely on for 100% correct answers- my usual strategy is to fly through those and then when I hit the last 10 or so I have plenty of time to brute force my way through the hard stuff.

One of the LR sections of that PT is level 5 difficulty on 7sage. It screwed me too, and worse than you so don't worry lol

one of the reviews I read for a test center (not mine) said their proctors interrupted them all about some trivial administrative issue in the middle of RC. I'd be iivid.

I've got a lot left as well. I'm not even gonna try to squeeze them all in since it's not gonna happen. I guess having some fresh material if I need to retake wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
you have been Pting the recent pts for a while now, so how you have many left?

If you have done 74, how did you find its lr?
I think 12. 13 but I had to use a part of 54 for experimental the other day. and I don't think I've seen some of the earlier ones - 51, 40 and 39. So I guess 15.
eta: just of the more recent ones - 66, 67, 69, 70, 76, 77, and 78. so seven.
I didn't find it too bad. There was one question I struggled with, circled, and got wrong, (still have to look at it) but that was the only one.
which one?

i thought lr2.9 was devious as eff.
4.21
Assuming you mean the about the anecdotes, yeah that was a weird question.
i had 4.21 circled too.

with questions like #9 i tend to run out of time.
did you notice something unique about #24 in the same section?
[+] Spoiler
I definitely had to look at 24 a couple of times, because the right answer would only work if the customer was paying the handling fee, and the stim says they are offered for free, so it was a bit weird. but I guess we were to assume the customer pays handling. Other than that I don't think I noticed anything really unusual/unique about? did you notice something?

Just to make sure I'm not screwing anything up - We don't need to have any schools on our LSAC "school list" or be signed up for CAS or anything like that, right? I made an lsac account, registered for the lsat, uploaded a photo, and everything else is blank. That's okay, right?

Also - For those of you that have taken the real thing, what format is the test in? Like - is it a bunch of papers stapled in the corner, or is it like the booklets for individual tests you buy off amazon?

Just to take the LSAT and just for now, that's fine. Get CAS when you're about to apply to schools.

The real test is like a booklet front and back

Just got slapped around by PT 73.

After reviewing Flaw questions for a few days, my brain decided to completely forget how to do Logic Games.

RC: -3
LR1: -6
LG: -13
LR2: -3

Score: 161

So, I knew I was in trouble when the first LG took me 15 minutes. I'm guessing it's either burnout or taking a PT at 6:30a after a 5 minute breakfast.

I'm also going to start doing some warmup LR before PTing to get my brain in the flow of things.

I've seen references to the 7sage difficulty ratings- any idea where I can find those for RC/LR? I use their videos for LG all the time but idk where the LR/RC stuff is- is it something you need to have their package for?

The first game is weirdly difficult - I really struggled with that one the first time as well. I think I've seen that type of game only around 3 times, all in 50+ PTs, and if you don't split the board correctly at the beginning you get completely lost. The rest aren't a walk in the park either.

A sufficient breakfast and decent warm-up can make a huge difference imo. Don't let one low score get you down.

That's rough on the LG, I'm not sure what the hang up was specifically, but if it was a particular question or two, don't let it hang you up, just move on. I had a test like that where I stubbornly said to myself I wasn't moving forward until I figured out the question. I did eventually at the expense of the rest of the test.

They are listed here: https://7sage.com/question-bank/?sectio ... t_type=all
But you have to pay for the explanations.

Hi guys, so yesterday I:

1) Did the Parallel Reasoning questions
2) Finagled my way through the picture process, took a million pics, and cropped my pic and posted it..

So, I started choking on my second set of Parallel Reasoning questions last night and left the last two for today. I still got one wrong but when analyzing it I realized it was my interpretation of a word in the stimulus I made a mistake on.
[+] Spoiler
It was the frogs from Scarborough Island question (PT 37, LR 1, Q 26). I went with E when the correct answer was D (I was down to both of them). I chose E because it eliminated the owls from eating any other animal other than the frogs from the lagoon, however E says Each frog while D says the only frogs yet discovered which is similar to the reasoning of the stimulus.. So I think the trick to these questions is really analyzing every word and especially verbs.

For my first set I went 36/38 -2, and the second set 25/33 -8, overall 62/72 -10

I usually read the question stem first, I find that guides me and usually helps me approach the question in a successful way. When I first started studying for the exam (and had no idea what I was doing i.e. taking PT's constantly) I would read the stimulus first. I noticed since following the curriculum ad nauseum and incorporated the technique of question stem first, I am much more successful on the questions I do.

On 7sage, they have the LSAT analytics thing and when you put your answers in (i think you can see it without submitting your answers though), at the end, you get to see the difficulty for each section under "trends"

Just got my best PT score today

PT 68

RC -2
LR1 -1
LR2 -1
LG -1

177

I guess this shows that, at least for me, mental focus is the most important thing at this point in the game. I took PT 67 five days ago and got a 166 and really the only thing that went wrong for that PT was I was tired and unfocused.
