Re: The Official October Waiter's Oasis
Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing. I'm sure we'll find a way. Last time I took time off from lifting I was able to hit a squat PR in relatively short time, it was only 5 or 10 pounds more but still proud of it. I spent 10 days visiting family in Miami after the test and ate my weight in Cuban bread so it's cutting time for me lol. Lately I've been using variations of Wendler's 5/3/1 so I'll be maxing in a few weeksBroManDudeManBro wrote:Noice! I wouldn't 1RM yet if you're just coming back into the swing of things. My deadlifts dropped 10 pounds from LSAT prep. Now at 245x5. My bench went up after taking 3 weeks off to go hard with prep hahaha. Now at 225x5.law_dawg18 wrote:BroManDudeManBro wrote:Anyone else here lift weights? Curious to compare max lifts and amount of strength lost during LSAT prep.
oh hello.
barely lifted during test prep. finally back in the gym this week, I haven't tried for any 1RM yet but deadlifting 265x5 today felt pretty heavy and my max is higher. I usually don't lose as much strength on my squat as I do on deadlift and bench
Just finished a bulk though, weigh 157 now and going to try to cut to 147.
Honestly, I hope 1L isn't too time consuming. Going to the gym has become basically routine for the last couple of years. It'd be a shame if we both had to end this all.

Is anyone else forever annoyed by the LSAC website? Whenever I go back to "active applications" it always gives me an error message and it drives me I.N.S.A.N.E. like why can't I just use the back arrows without problems
