the 2nd one was for OU, the 1st I'd rather not say because I've seen reps of their admissions on TLS before. But I'm retaking for $$$ mainly from T20RaiderRed wrote:Rigo you're beautiful.
And congrats again baseball! Would love to hear where at for both! Also I realized I don't even know your stats or what you're retaking for. Lol. I'm a noob

I usually only go 15-20. It's the easiest section, so generally I only do it to keep fresh. Not so much drill. Once I hit -1 consistently I just slowed down on LG a lot. When I first started I would do 30ish.gamerish wrote:When you guys do LG drilling, how many games do you typically do per day?

I think it has helped me, but given that you're making early mistakes I would definitely give it a shot--can't hurt at all at this point to try.kang wrote:Do you think the warm up has helped your LR score? I noticed that in my first LR section most of my mistakes were before #15. I could probably use the warmup... lolbrusselsprouts wrote:I make ridiculous LR mistakes far too often on easy questions. I think I'm usually flustered or intimidated going into LR, so I've been trying to warm up beforehand with a game to build up my confidence and get myself prepared. Not any real substantive advice but I totally feel you! That said I also make a number of mistakes with hard LR questions..but this week I've definitely noticed my mistakes are on easy-medium questions.kang wrote:Finally finished BR for PT66 that I took yesterday.
Score Breakdown:
RC: -4/-2
LR: -5/-1
LG: -1/-1
LR: -3/-2

I'm noticing that most of my LR mistakes are aggregated towards the "easier" level of difficulty. I really don't know what to make of this. One theory is that maybe I'm just so used to the more difficult format of the LR stim, when I see a easy argument its so obvious that it throws me off? But this really doesn't help me on how I should approach these question types.. lol
Any opinions/advice?
And congrats baseball!!

I had to buy a ton to drill and make copies. TBH, once you get good at Logic games, you look forward to them. They're actually kinda fun lol. I consider it a break whenever I PT because its usually so straightforward. If I was as good at EITHER of the other sections as I am at LG, I'd be lower to mid 170's easygamerish wrote:Jesus Christ. How did you not run out of games in like two weeks?

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
This. I pretty much fell in love with LG after I started understanding the methods. Other than a few very tricky game types (mostly hybrids), I find them to be fun. Also I only had to do the 30 games two or three times before I got the hang of games. After that I dropped significantly. And I'm not sure if I've done all the games yet, I know I've done some games multiple times. I basically just did a giant book Kaplan gave me when I took their class and the LG bible and workbook plus several that I found in a library prep book of solely LG, not sure who makes the book.ilikebaseball wrote:I had to buy a ton to drill and make copies. I am still taking the Feb test, just to assure acceptance in the T20 with money to make it worthwhile. I've got pretty solid LSAT (I was PT'ing in the low 170's though, which would explain my retake) and a pretty bad GPA. I'll pm stats

Being gay does count for something. It's a fantastic topic for a diversity statement and you can touch on it in the PSzacboro wrote:Does being gay count as a URM

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
just saw this, but easssssyyyy. No need to get tense. That's a good score for Christ's sake lol. This is a friendly thread.Dirigo wrote:Ummm the term full-ride has always meant tuition.gamerish wrote:Im on my phone so i could only do a super quick glance at MyLSN but I'm not seeing anything close to a full ride at Cornell with a 169/3.9. Unless the definition of full ride has changed to mean full tuition rather than the full cost of attendance. Even then, tuition at Cornell is almost 60k a year and the 100k-110k I'm seeing on LSN with those numbers still leaves a pretty sizable gap.Dirigo wrote:How is that an oddly specific goal? If I don't get near a Cornell fully, I'm not going to law school. That's my bare minimum to matriculate.
And I don't solely use mylsn for scholly info. I look at last cycle's threads and 3.9/169 was pulling a fully & they were pretty generous last year (probably explains why they raised their 75% two points)
Thanks for chiming in.
But anyways, I'm done. Never discussing goals again, since I'm clearly so grossly misinformed.
Jesus Christ you guys.
Also, LSN averages and always gives shoddy scholly numbers. That's why I said I don't go by that.
