Ah okay, thanks.Shib26 wrote:It's not a true curve but in the sense that that term is used on here, yes, it will affect all scores as it's equated to fit a certain distribution. So even at the extreme other end of the scale you might have one test where 16 correct answers results in a 120, but on another test it would equate to a 122. The curve to 170 is just the most commonly used measuring stick.dontsaywhatyoumean wrote:Does the curve affect scores below 170? How much lower?
Thanks

Thank you.
I am sorry if I am being very annoying. Please tell me that the first Logic game was only 5 questions...

Can someone explain to me the appeal of beer? I've had it in Germany, Vienna, and the US, light and dark, craft and natty light and none of it tastes good. Maybe I just like my girly drinks with vodka - like a kamikaze. Yum.

Yeah but I've had other beers - see previous mention. It just tastes like... not deliciousness. At least natty light tastes more like water haha.splitterfromhell wrote:There's your problem.azaleafire wrote:Can someone explain to me the appeal of beer? It's definitely an acquired taste. I hated it for a while but as I've gotten a little older, I do enjoy beer from time to time. It's better when you're already buzzed, but you didn't hear that from meazaleafire wrote:Can someone explain to me the appeal of beer? And this seems so strange to me lol. Germany was what turned me into a beer snob and gave me an appreciation for it. People like the taste and the fact that you can drink it in decent quantities without getting hammered. (like 8oz wont destroy you)
If you like sugary drinks, there is no problem with that.

Speaking of adult beverages...I just saw a video on Facebook of supposed helium-infused beer and was so excited about finding it because it looks hilarious...turns out it not only was fake, but also impossible. So disappointing. That'd be so fun lol

Alcohol shouldn't need anything in it other than ice. If it's not tasting good, then you're either drinking cheap liquor or it's not for you.Li'l Sebastian wrote:There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting your drink to actually taste good!azaleafire wrote:Can someone explain to me the appeal of beer? Anyone having days where you remember certain things about the test and you feel fairly confident and then other days you feel like you may have made quite a few mistakes? The anticipation is killing me, lol.

Yes. I go back and forth constantly. Like "wow there were so many hard LRs...I probably went -10 on each section" to "Well yeah they were tough but maybe I got them all right." lolLuckDaw wrote:Anyone having days where you remember certain things about the test and you feel fairly confident and then other days you feel like you may have made quite a few mistakes? Yup. Pretty much everyday haha. I'm also paranoid that I made bubbling errors on at least one section. Not being able to see my answer sheet is gonna suck.LuckDaw wrote:Anyone having days where you remember certain things about the test and you feel fairly confident and then other days you feel like you may have made quite a few mistakes? Also, I wish some schools would hurry up and make decisions already. I'm almost at the point where idc if it's a rejection, I just want SOME movement. Refreshing status checkers is pretty much my only escape from the monotony of work ugh.
