Prep Test C from Super Prep (Not sure exactly what PT number)

170

LG: -3 (4th Game another unusual/tough game. Dynamic Motor Company)
LR I: -2
LR II: -7
RC: -2

I am starting to think that my LR performance is largely dependent on choosing between 2 answers on a handful of questions (The correct and most attractive incorrect answer). On sections where I do the former more often than the latter I tend to get -2 or less. On sections where I do the latter more often than the former I tend to get -5 to -7. Overall -3 to -4 seems to be my average.
Solid score! I hate that game. And at least another one from PT A, B, or C.
Awesome work mate! Keep it up

Thanks guys

+1 to all of this.
I used to, now there my favorite part of test. They are the fine ass girl that plays lots of games at first, but put in the work and show you are not messing around, then she'll treat you right.

Haha thats a great analogy.
And...

--> If you follow a similar LG study plan to "pithy pikes" and watch the online explanation videos from 7Sage you can get good at them pretty quickly. When you can blow through a Game so quickly and make it your bitch you are likely to enjoy it haha

When you evacuate for Hurricane Matthew and the first thing on your mind is "shit I've gotta grab all my LSAT books and where can I get my practice test in this weekend"?

I still hate them. I still feel like I suck at grouping games.... Idk why. I drill and drill but my time doesn't seem to get much better. Ugh....

7Sage is the shit though!

Logic Games are simultaneously the easiest section, and the most fun. It is the section also most likely to have a perfect score on.

Thanks man! I'll PM you. Essentially my time sucks with them. I understand them and can go -0, but after drilling them I still don't feel fast enough.

For grouping games where there's just one group but not every variable is included, do you write an "out" group too? For awhile I didn't write an out group and it slowed me down/made me more likely to be inaccurate. Just something that came up for me!

You mean games where there's 2 groups and only 1 is the "in" group? Yeah I write out the out group.

Some people (including 7sage) write the check and X thing, but my personal preference is to just make it group 1 and 2.

Yeah, I set them up correctly. It is the damn questions that slow me down. I feel like with grouping games I either get questions right in 2 seconds with inferences or have to brute force 4 answer choices, making separate diagrams, and wasting tons of time. At this point with games, I'm trying to go -0 and get consistently fast. The f****** grouping games are killing my vibe, man!

Hey Decemberists! No chance in hell I'm taking this test again, but I just wanted to pop in and wish you all good luck! Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint. You're going to get frustrated at times, but stick with it. Y'all are gonna crush it!

Thank you, Pozzo! Nice to hear some encouragement from those who have been through it!

It's become second nature to just draw out a simple T-chart without the ✓ and X.

Consistently finishing RC sections with 10 minutes left. This is glorious.

I just read. I've noticed that I am a lot more focused on the content when I simply concentrate on what I'm reading. It's been more mental for me than anything. Simply doing them everyday has made it easier.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
