Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Hey guys,
Checking in for December. I just got my score and received a lousy 140.... I think it was the nerves and I kept on guessed on the last questions on each section...
Do you think it's possible to reach 160 by December?
Thanks.

This is difficult to say without knowing how you approached the October test. Had you studied or did you take it cold? If you studied, how much, how long, and what did you use?Monkey D Luffy wrote:Hey guys,

20 point increases are not unheard of, though difficult to do in about a month's time.

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
That's just amazing. I get off 5:30-6 and could totally study until 10:30. However, the public libraries near me aren't open that late, and the university ones that are charge an insane amount for parking...I'll have to figure something out.SirArthurDayne wrote:Yes. Well, Shak... I think a lot of people do what you are doing, and its a smart move. You gotta master this craft before you put up a show. Smart!

Went from a 167 to a 168. kinda bummed but fuck it. Putting in everything in this last take, only got about 8 fresh PTs left but I guess I'll do some old ones and maybe check out those indian LSATs. 6 weeks can't get here soon enough tho.

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Are any of you guys regularly including a 5th section to simulate the extra time/attention required by the experimental on test day when you do PTs? I feel that losing focus is one of my biggest issues with the exam overall (especially RC) so I'm wondering if that would be beneficial, although nothing quite matches the test-day anxiety I know I will feel if I get an experimental RC.

Hey all, Checking in. I got my October score back, which was no where near my PT average. I'm hoping that I can correct whatever the issue was before the December test.
For those of you who work FT, in the morning before you go in do you Drill?

Ugh, I really wish I could. I have to be up by 6:30 AM to get on the road by 7 AM (thanks LA traffic.) I've tried getting up at 5:30 AM but I couldn't do it.Shiv3rs-n-Ice wrote:Hey all, Checking in. I'm thinking of living with family who live 15 mins from my work, so I can get in 1-1.5 hours of studying before work. My office is great for studying, so I try to stay an hour or two after I clock out to do drilling.

I work from 6-2 or 7-3. Because everyone comes in a little later than that, I don't like sticking around to study. I think I'm going to start drilling/ drill timed before I clock in since I have flexible hours.daisrt wrote:Ugh, I really wish I could. Yeah your hours are pretty nice, why don't you just study at home or at the lib after work? Seems like you'd have plenty of time to do so....Shiv3rs-n-Ice wrote:I work from 6-2 or 7-3. Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
I'm usually pretty good with motivating myself but I feel like I've put so much effort into this test not only this year but last year too for my takes which resulted in the same 157 score. I've been sitting here with the same game in front of me for a few hours just avoiding doing it.. cannot bring myself to do it. i didn't really think id be this broken down after getting this score back. so close to my goal of 160, too. ugh.
sorry if it seems i'm complaining a lot. I just need to vent

I'm with you. I needed at least 161 and got to 159. This sucks.flash21 wrote:I'm usually pretty good with motivating myself but I feel like I've put so much effort into this test not only this year but last year too for my takes which resulted in the same 157 score.
