Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
I think I did pretty well on LG/LR1/LR2 and how I did depends on just how badly I fucked up on the last two RC passages+the curve. Predicting a brutal curve and lots of fuck ups, so we'll see. Not super optimisticDirigo wrote:Sooooooo how does everyone think they did?
ETA because Stevie Wonder is wrong and superstition is totally the way

Yeah, I think once you practice so much you lose sight a little on how easy or hard it is. I think its hard to believe that they would suddenly pull anything less than a -10 curve with the way things have trended isn't likely.Dirigo wrote: "Easiest test ever" has me thinking it might be another September situation.

I'm sure all of you scored 169+ and I got a 167 and everyone will be semi-happy.

They are in the shape of a heart because Valentine's Day (and because I can make terrible broken heart and eat your heart out jokes whenever someone eats one) and pretty delicious. That reminds me. I need to make something Turkish. It's the perfect blend of Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern. I've been craving some since I went there on my honeymoon earlier this year.peppermint wrote: Do you promise to make me Middle Eastern food?

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
We were there for almost three weeks. Most of it was in Istanbul, but we spent about 5 days in Cappadocia in a cave hotel. My wife and I loved it there so much and really want to go back. We decided not to do a more robust itinerary because it was our first vacation in 2 years and wanted to relax, but now there's so much more in that country we want to go back and see.RaiderRed wrote:That sounds like an awesome honeymoon! Even though Turkish coffee is more well known, tea is actually a much bigger deal there, which is something my wife and I share with them. We drank so much tea in Turkey.

Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
Tell me more about this Turkish food you're craving. I think I have a bad impression of Turkish food because in Europe Turkish kebabs is what you eat when it's 3:30 AM and you're coming home from the bar hungry as hell and it's the only place open, and it's overwhelmingly pretty gross. I need to fix this!CambrianExplosives wrote:That reminds me. I need to make something Turkish. It's the perfect blend of Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern. Re: FEBRUARY 2015 WAITERS' CIRCUS
True story. One of my friends visited turkey solo and almost got trapped there. Lost his phone and didn't bring enough money. He barely had enough for the plane ride home.CambrianExplosives wrote:We were there for almost three weeks. Most of it was in Istanbul, but we spent about 5 days in Cappadocia in a cave hotel.
