I lurked in 2013, and there was way more traffic back then. Seems like TLS is dying down...

Yup as far as I know. Probably not going to even worry about PS until the summer,Dirigo wrote:Since you're counting, waiters has more than February and it's only day one.nlee10 wrote: Yeah we sorta took over. This thread only had like 9 pages 2 weeks ago.
Granted, y'all are social butterflies and keeping both threads active.
In 9 short weeks this cycle will be over. Iirc, none of you are planning to apply with February scores, correct?

So, I've decided; if I get a 172+, I will graduate a year early and use the extra scholarship money to screw around for a summer in Europe.
There, new source of motivation.

I'm feeling my motivation waning (esp as the holidays approach) - would anyone be willing to be a (virtual) study partner? I think meeting up with someone is a good idea, but alas I am abroad.
Basically just we'd email each other what we did each day studying. or if we didn't study. Which hopefully would engender guilt to study more. Until the day of reckoning in February.
About me: Aiming 170+; my weak section is LR.
PM if you're interested! Thankssssss

Speaking of less people taking the test... I told my tutor that I saw that less people are taking the LSAT and there are less applications to law school and he said "the numbers went down but now they're going back up." And I was thinking "He's lying to freak me out so I'll pay his company more." Any thoughts? lol

Thanks for the links, dirigo! I saw the spivey numbers and didn't exactly know what to make of them.
All I can do now is write a quick ass application and hope that my LOR, PS and GPA will compensate for my GPA. If not... I'll apply with you all next cycle

Please tell your tutor to call me. I'm not kidding, I would like to get a call from some stranger who says "hi, I am WorldsCollide's tutor and I stand by my statement that "the numbers are going back up" so I can explain malpractice to him. Thank you!WorldsCollide wrote:Sorry for only answering now... I went to bed because I'm still recovering from a coldpeppermint wrote:WC, I've missed you!! How have you been? How's school? Life? More than likely checking in. I don't even know if a retake is worth it considering my weak section is RC and that seems impossible to improve no matter how hard I tried. My scores ranged from -3 to -10 in prep and I didn't feel on the better side of that range yesterday

Many people on here have trouble with RC, including me. And many people have also been able to improve it. What have you done so far to practice RC?DivineJustice wrote:More than likely checking in. Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
I've done almost all of the most recent RC's. I try to read complex articles time to time. I try to notate but sometimes that takes away too much time. I think if I just isolate RC this month and just solely work on that, then a month to review LG/LR will be plenty and sufficient. The problem is that I think for me to improve RC expands beyond any LSAT-specific passages/questions. I almost felt like I didn't have a full grasp of any of the passages yesterday.JackelJ wrote:Many people on here have trouble with RC, including me. And many people have also been able to improve it. The problem is that I can do moderately well on all the RC's until I get to the 60's, then it's just a constant -7 to -10. They're so ridiculous.

Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
I highly recommend the PT 1-38 Cambridge packets for RC. Although these are older PT's, it's really good practicing for timing and just doing dense passages.DivineJustice wrote:I've done almost all of the most recent RC's.
