not to bring everyone down... but I thought waiting on the score release was bad, until I had to wait months to find out about applications. It only gets worse from here.

Yeah but once I know my LSAT score, applications will be fairly predictable. The wait will still feel long, but at least I'll have a decent idea what I'm looking at. Right now I wouldn't be surprised with anywhere from a 168-175+ which, with coupled with my GPA, would be the difference between a likely HYS or a stretch to grab MVP.

I'd s*** my pants if I got a 168+. I'm just hoping to do better than my 160 in December :/

I think you can find stats on general improvement for second time test-takers, I stumbled upon it before and it's pretty encouraging

Dean Z recently blogged about it and said the average retaker usually improves by 2.8 points on their second try and 2.1 points on their third. Then again, she said that's statistically most likely to happen at the lowest scores where it's much easier to improve.

Luckily February is a short month. So at most, we have two weeks to wait. You can do it!

It sounds like you will be in good shape then. However, it all seems predictable until you submit the apps and have to wait 3 months to hear anything. Maybe I'm just having a bad experience... I'm WL'd T10 and took the Feb LSAT in an attempt to get off of the WL. At this point I just want to know so I can formulate a plan for the fall.

Agreed, however, there are probably less than 20,000 Feb 2012 test takers (according to trend on LSAC). If so, they will finish processing sooner than the Dec 2011 test. Therefore, if they wait till 3/5, then they are just jerking our chains

Yeah I'm letting December serve as a cautionary tale. I'm not going to assume they'll be out until the 7th.
