LSAC's rule that the photo must be within the past 6 months. Like I said, it might be on file and they might want to be A holes about it so I don't want to take any risks.StopLawying wrote:What's the problem with using the same photo as June?TheMikey wrote:Mmm, ok thanks! Idk back in undergrad i felt like i was just so much more motivated. I'd be going like 730am-midnight most weekdays, but now i'll get home at 6pm and i'm almost too tired to prep. But oh well. Just a few more weeks, we all got this.TheMikey wrote:I'm in my senior year, and I feel like the LSAT has been more challenging than any of the BS classes I've taken. Challenging, as in actually taking a toll on me mentally, which no class has done before. Then again, I never really did shit throughout undergrad up until like 3 days before something was due.. so.. I guess since I continuously do LSAT stuff, it's just different.thatlawlkid wrote:After back to back under performance on PTs i decided to take a few days off and hit the beach this weekend. My mind feels a lot more clear and I'm hoping i can really spend this last month grinding out some consistency. It's weird how in undergrad i could be working, taking 18 credits, and prepping and not even consider a burnout, but now over a year out just working 40 hours a week and prepping kinda gets to me.

Then again I think that actual work is more tiring than being in school/studying all day. I'm usually in school from 9-6 on some days and although it's tiring, I felt more tired when I was working during the Summer and trying to study for this test. So I guess that's a factor to consider.thatlawlkid wrote:Idk back in undergrad i felt like i was just so much more motivated. So, I was spazzing out about my 173 yesterday because it was so far below my 177 average. Then I realized, all I need to achieve my goals is a 171/172, so I need to chill the fuck out. UVA's 75th percentile is a 170, so as long as my score starts with a 17, whatever.

WOW. Just reviewed my first PT from yesterday. Turns out I misbubbled 2 LG questions, so instead of a 173 I should've gotten a 176.
Need to start checking bubbling for every section, every time. Can't let that happen on test day.

Is a 17_ LSAT score a sufficient or necessary condition for a full scholly?SweetTort wrote:So, I was spazzing out about my 173 yesterday because it was so far below my 177 average. Not a serious question, just some dry LSAT humor, sorry about that.

Neither sufficient nor necessary, but definitely helpful in my situation.TheMikey wrote:Is a 17_ LSAT score a sufficient or necessary condition for a full scholly?SweetTort wrote:So, I was spazzing out about my 173 yesterday because it was so far below my 177 average. 4th game of PT 68 is the toughest double-layered sequencing game I've ever come across. missed three on the LG section overall. gonna BR and score tomorrow, time to relax. I think I did well but idk. regardless I'm gonna take a small break from PTs so I don't risk burnout by test day.

Guys, can you tell me how you'd approach PT57,S3,Q14 in real-time? Really struggle with these types of questions during the timed exam. I just can't hold all the information in my head, and diagramming would take way too much time. During BR, I got the answer. But even just comprehending the stim took me several minutes.

174 on prep-test 62, my best yet- got lucky on a couple guessed LG answers and unlucky on a couple 50/50 RC answers so I think it balances out? -14 curve reallllly helped, most other tests and I would have been 170-171. Trying not to read too much into it because of the abnormal curve but it was a nice boost.
I'm also noticing something weird on my RC- I'm missing very easy questions that when I first started I'd get no problem and getting the much harder questions. Overall results in the section haven't really changed, just what I get right/wrong has...

multivitamins somehow never click with me, and even one tablet makes me drowsy.Alexandros wrote:Good plan. Gonna pick some up.SweetTort wrote:Alexandros wrote:Bizarrely tired today. I'm worried I have some kind of vitamin deficiency or something. I really don't have time for this rn. :///

Re: The Official September 2016 Study Group - WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS
i did this question and I thought it was easy because the answer choices were easy to eliminate. A and B are easy elimination since we know nothing MUST have the label "nonfat." as for C, the baguettes could actually be nonfat but we don't have that information so we don't know if its in violation. for E, notice that it fulfills any and all requirements -- the label on the salsa is permitted for any type of nonfat product, it's the most detailed one! this leaves us with D.StopLawying wrote:Guys, can you tell me how you'd approach PT57,S3,Q14 in real-time? D should also pop out because one part of the stimulus is especially relevant -- the first sentence -- this is how I came to the correct answer when I first came to this q IIRC.

This happened to me with LR. I think it's because once you get used to the harder questions you're almost skeptical of the easier questions. That was my problem anyway....I kept 2nd guessing that the questions were that easy and then changing my answers.theboringest wrote:174 on prep-test 62, my best yet- got lucky on a couple guessed LG answers and unlucky on a couple 50/50 RC answers so I think it balances out? -14 curve reallllly helped, most other tests and I would have been 170-171. Not sure the best way to fix it for RC though...for the LR I just kept reminding myself that if question 6 seemed easy...it's probably because it is question 6 and it is easy. That pattern doesn't hold true as much for RC.
