Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
I'm considering changing my life plans and not going to law school so I can do cool outdoor things and be Internet-less in the wild. But that may be because I'm sick of studying for the LSAT.

PT 46 (-10 curve) results:
personal record Timed: 172 (personal record BR: 175)
Sect. 1 RC: -0 (-0)
Sect. 2 LR: -3 (-2)
Sect. 3 LR: -3 (-3)
Sect. 4 LG: -1 (-0)
ETA: Positive was that I had 3+ minutes on each section on the timed to go back, so timing is less of an issue. Negative is that I did not catch the LR questions I got wrong, clearly.

Thanks. I've done really well on RC w/out any drilling (save for 1 or 2 times I just could not focus and the results were disastrous). I was actually surprised the RC section for PT 46 was rated as "hardest" on 7sage.whacka wrote:TheWalkingDebt wrote:PT 46 (-10 curve) results:

Having a sweet LSAT score in the bag is liberating though. It's good for 5 years.

Had my last night of this last weekend. No ragrets. Had a little too much fun though. Now its time to lock myself in a closet and study until June 7th. *sigh*TheWalkingDebt wrote:It never hurts to have a night to booze (bourbon, I love thee) and get away from the LSAT.

I could never drink while studying. Even one or two beers diminished my brain function and speed the next day.

Gratz. Check out PT 48 when you have the chance. The curve sucks.TheWalkingDebt wrote:PT 46 (-10 curve) results:

Yeah, I didn't get much done the next day but it was my day off of studying. I've been boringly sober and my friends are planning on taking me out right after the June LSAT. It'll be the Monday of finals week for me but who studies for finals anyway?

Dumb question, what do you mean by -10 curve? How do you define a curve on a given PT?nlee10 wrote:Gratz. Check out PT 48 when you have the chance. The curve sucks.TheWalkingDebt wrote:PT 46 (-10 curve) results:

Thanks. Yeah it does. I hit 163 on it. That was the first test I took after my previous high of 169, and after that I did PT 65 and hit 163 again. The curve for 48 is awful.nlee10 wrote: Gratz. Check out PT 48 when you have the chance. The curve sucks.
CC
The typical curve is -12 from everything I've seen. Though the point of the curve is to normalize across tests, so a lower curve is typically an "easier" test, but still equally hard to get into the X percentile.

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
I think despite all the unmistakably essential help available here, the LSAT is a personal struggle to develop the basic and critical skills necessary to be a good lawyer/attorney. One has to do it at one's own pace, but, there is no reason for an above average person to not do well eventually. So, scholarship should be a goal.ccordero wrote:Here's to getting a good LSAT score so some school will give me scholarshipsRigo wrote:Easy fix: Go to law school for free, duder.ccordero wrote:i graduated UG back in 2013 with about 32k loans. i have it at around 4k remaining now. should be completely paid off a few months before i take on 200k to go to law school.biggestlawman wrote:What is everyone's undergrad/grad debt like? I would prefer to go to a top 10 LS with a heavy scholarship than going to the HLS. A major counter thought is going to the HLS and joining academia.
