I think even strengthen/weaken are easier than MSS in that respect, since at least you have a concrete flaw to grasp onto. I just feel like I have no direction when I'm answering MSS questions. Am I doing it wrong? Is December going to have an entire LR section of MSS? Should I get a haircut?

So much uncertainty.
I drilled MSS. I love MSS versus MBT because of the flexibility of the answers.

I am definitely going to continue drilling more while interchanging timed preptests. More timed LG and RC sections. Untimed LR question types. Godspeed.

Whats up TLS. Long time lurker here. I took the LSAT in September and decided to take it again after getting my score back (6 points lower than my average PT  ). Took a TestMasters course over the summer but recently bought the Manhattan LSAT books and Prep Tests 52-61 for my retake drills & reviews. I found Manhattan's approach to LR and RC much more helpful than TestMasters overall. Taking PT 52 after classes today

Back again. Completed the grouping intro section of ACE today, which I struggled with way more than I expected. I'm hoping practice will help those eventually get better.

Hope everyone else's studying is going according to plan as well! It's so motivating to read about what everyone else is doing in their prep.

+1, thanks Jgoods! I love that line at the end, "You can't climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets"
I was thinking of what quote to include when posting it but I would hear one after another I loved so decided screw it, theres too many to choose from

Knocked out Preptest 65 at a busy coffee shop this early afternoon. I will probably do my blind review later today after the gym and report back per usual. I know that I definitely need to drill timed LG sections as this is the 5th Preptest I have taken where I have had to guess LG questions due to time constraints. The curve was -14 which puzzles me because RC and LG were relatively easy. The first LR seemed decent and the second was long and caused me some doubts. I suppose that's what blind review is all about. I suppose I should also mention that I haven't slept since yesterday.

Lunch check-in:

Long story short, I had planned to PT tomorrow and Sunday but things came up and schedule had to be adjusted. So I took PT 71 first thing in the morning.

I'm trying to be more patient so I BR'd the first two sections and now on lunch break.

LR1: 15/25
LG: 19/23

BR LR1: 20/25 (Not focusing enough on the stimulus)
BR LG: 22/23 (Forgot some rules due to timing)

I definitely feel as if LR is harder as in trickier post-60's than the 40's/early 50's. In the PT 40's, you could've have gotten away with barely understanding the stimulus, but now it appears that you really need to know everything.

ETA: Just noticed the -14 curve...might be why I felt absolutely destroyed by LR. lol

Haven't taken PT 65 yet but this reflects my experiences with PT 71 today. Thought LG and RC weren't too bad, but LR definitely tricky.

NAs are fun af, though. I seriously love NA questions. They're so rock solid and satisfying. Probably wouldn't feel the same way about weakens or parallels.

Purchasing Logical Reasoning By Type PT 41-60 --anyone know where I can find explanations?

I purchased LG By Type 41-60 -7sage explanations are the best.

Ah thanks for the link! I didn't realize this was free content from 7sage so I was trying to summarize. However, it's better straight from the horse's mouth.
Cool, thanks. How about LR explanations? How do you all review LR with only the exam and the cold hard answer sheet?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
