Disappointed:( I got a 156, which is only an improvement of one point for me. Just registered for the September LSAT so I've got one more chance. Will be asking for studying advice over the next few weeks and months:) Hope everyone else did good enough to get into their target schools, I see some of you did great so congratulations!!!!

Re: June 2016 - Waiter's (+170 or bust) GRAY DAY HAS AWOKEN FROM ITS SLUMBER
I improved 5 surved points from the first LSAT and got a 158 (74th percentile). My past 5 PTs ranged from 159-162. I probably did better than usual on the LG section, worse than usual on the LR sections, and about par on RC.
I am looking at applying to Villanova, Drexel, Temple, PSU, URichmond as the major players. That score should get me into Villanova, PSU, and Drexel at the least, I'm not looking to a UPenn or Big Law gig. That all being said, should I take my second and final retake in October? My goal is a 160, only 2 raw score points above my 70 I got. The question is, how big are those 2 points? How much more money could a November application with a potential 160 give me, vs a september app with a 158?? I really on't want to be in the library during my last "free" college football season for a few years, but I guess I'll do what I have to do.

Re: June 2016 - Waiter's (+170 or bust) GRAY DAY HAS AWOKEN FROM ITS SLUMBER
just be ready to give a ton of reasons why retaking isnt the answer... bc 90% of people if not more will flat out tell u to retake. Depending on your goals and restrictions it may make sense not to but it will be the main response. Though hitting avg but also having awhile b4 you need to apply (benefit of June first take) allows a nice cruise back into studying and working towards upping that scoreproteinshake wrote:you should post this in the 'Choosing a Law School' forum.bmathers wrote:I improved 5 surved points from the first LSAT and got a 158 (74th percentile). 169, still debating about a retake; I studied for a year, so I feel like I'm either wasting a year or am about to waste more time studying (169 is smack dab in the middle of my range)

172, one point below my average. Right after taking the test I actually had the feeling I absolutely jackpotted it, but I guess that kind of thing can be deceiving. Word to the wise, you don't know what your score is until you get it! By some twisted logic, I wasn't thrilled by my score at first, even though it's 6 points higher than my Feb score.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
