Hey! Still haven't gotten my score. Can someone please ease my mind and tell me what the last 4 answers on RC were. I had to guess so I guessed D on all of them. Now I'm nervous.

JESUS FUCK. 170. 3 points less than my PT average. But also so on the edge and I so don't want to do this again......

I got a 170 too. 170 is just not like 174 - 179. There's something unsatisfying about it. I am thinking about retaking in September. Urghhh!

What's your GPA?

I'll be there in the fall with a 173 and a GPA that's low for their numbers. If you think you can score better, retaking is always a good idea, but you have a shot at getting in as is (depending on GPA). Feel free to PM me with any qs.

Really dumb question for Spivey or anyone:
When a score is impossible for a given test, schools don't even bother checking that, I assume? They just straight compare what you got to what other administrations' scores were? So getting a 171 on a date that a 170 is *'d isn't any worse than a 171 for a date without *'s at all?

spivey can prob answer best out of peeps here but I dont think they care/look. If you got a 170 then it was a 170, the tests are curved and scored how they are to be as equal/comparable to every other test given which is why harder tests have a more forgiving curve.

They don't care. In respect to LSAT, what they care about are

1. Your high score in relationship to their medians first, and then your GPA/then other factors

2. The current cycle data, and particularly the LSAT bandwidth data which they (and likely I) get starting Dec.

Wtf. Back down to 170 on my third attempt. First two were 170 then 172 but my PT avg was 175 with scores up to 179... So disappointed, so much for being a splitter

just got it. My last 5 PTs were 159-162... I wanted a 160, got a 158 (74th percentile). My goals are Villanova/Temple/PSU... Should I stick with that, or retake? UGPA 3.3
