In 30 minutes the window for scores will be shut closed. 30mins is just too short of a period for me to get my hopes up.TheWalkingDebt wrote:AbbeyS wrote:That's what I'm sayinEnderWiggin wrote:HOW CAN YOU ALL TALK ABOUT CAREER GOALS AND PREFTIGIOUS OUTCOMES AT A TIME LIKE THIS

I just don't want to get ahead of myself and be like "I'm gonna work in big law in this city for this major law firm" when I don't even have my score. For all I know, I'm gonna open the email and a big fat 139 is glaring back at me haha I'd poop my pants

you should look at the employment statistics for partners... most of them are poached off of boutique law firms....ruizdaw wrote:placeholder wrote:i like how everyone wants big law until they go to law school then everyone wants clerk ships and boutique law firmsruizdaw wrote:Same. Not at the firms using the Cravath system. Which are also the firms with the highest per partner profits

Re: The Official June 2015 Waiter's Thread
Pooping ones pants seems a lot more realistic if I opened the email and it was a 180. I would have no control over my bodily functions whatsoever. However a 139 would have me more crying over a bottle/handle of whiskey for the next week straight as opposed to pantshitting.AbbeyS wrote:Lmao my bad. looked it up. That's pretty much what boutique law firms do. I dont know their pay but i just know boutique is for people who want to be board memebers/partners/ executives. i rather go to a firm that would allow more lateral transfer. Do you know Cravath transfer well to other firms?ruizdaw wrote:
