Same. You shooting for NYC?
Preferably DC
Not enough firms are hiring straight out of law school there I thought.
I'll let you know in 3-5 years.

In 30 minutes the window for scores will be shut closed. 30mins is just too short of a period for me to get my hopes up.

I just don't want to get ahead of myself and be like "I'm gonna work in big law in this city for this major law firm" when I don't even have my score. For all I know, I'm gonna open the email and a big fat 139 is glaring back at me haha I'd poop my pants

i like how everyone wants big law until they go to law school then everyone wants clerk ships and boutique law firms

Nah. My plan is big firm all the way until I make partner at that firm.
you should look at the employment statistics for partners... most of them are poached off of boutique law firms....

Not at the firms using the Cravath system. Which are also the firms with the highest per partner profits

I don't know if that's an appropriate reaction to anything other than riding a roller coaster while suffering from dysentery.

Pooping ones pants seems a lot more realistic if I opened the email and it was a 180. I would have no control over my bodily functions whatsoever. However a 139 would have me more crying over a bottle/handle of whiskey for the next week straight as opposed to pantshitting.

I'm saying that otters are not the incarnations of frivolity and joy that I once imagined them to be.
He's crying tears of joy because his watermelon is so good. If that's not joy then idk what is

looked it up. That's pretty much what boutique law firms do. I dont know their pay but i just know boutique is for people who want to be board memebers/partners/ executives. i rather go to a firm that would allow more lateral transfer. Do you know Cravath transfer well to other firms?
