I've always wondered if anyone claims to have a minor credit card, and what exactly that means?

I think it just means the major carries, right? Ex. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.TheWalkingDebt wrote:I've always wondered if anyone claims to have a minor credit card, and what exactly that means?JackelJ wrote:BP Ben I have a major credit card. Or if you accept venmo that'll be faster

Yeah - I had a Discover card in UG because I was a student and wanted to build up my credit. The Burger King next to my office didn't accept it. So I stopped eating Burger King. I just took my first PT, and it was abysmal to say the least. I got a 148. Embarrassing, I know.
Is this a fair representation of what I can expect? Meaning, can I really improve THAT much? I am feeling quite defeated right now.
I know it's my first one, and I've only been studying a few weeks.. I'm trying to stay positive.
Don't worry! A low diagnostic is not a death sentence. People on this site have improved by 30 points from their first PT score. It won't happen by accident, but it can happen eventually if you keep working at it.

I don't think that it is. You talking about the one with language books and 3 shelves? I think it divides nicely into like 3-4 game boards.179orBust wrote:The books/novels game on PT37 just destroyed me. Is this considered one of the more difficult games?
Yep, that one. You're right, it does split nicely into a few game boards but I found it very time consuming. Took me like 13 minutes on first try.TheWalkingDebt wrote:I don't think that it is. That's a great score. 169 on the J07 test is basically like a 172-173 on a normal -12 curve.jumbocolumbo wrote:So I took the June 2007 PT on Saturday and scored a 169.

Disappointed in LG. Happy and suspicious about LR. Befuddled by RC (although I haven't done any intensive RC work). Just from what I've seen on this thread lately eople seem to have extreme recommendations about how to handle RC. It's either spend 2:30 per initial read or 4-5 minutes. I'll try to strike a balance and just use the 8 minute time bank method, see where that gets me.
Going to PT later today once I'm off work.
That is good going indeed. How long have you been studying?jumbocolumbo wrote:So I took the June 2007 PT on Saturday and scored a 169.

It's the best I've done on LR yet which is why I am suspicious it may have been a fluke.Rigo wrote:Damn that LR is on point.
Thats good to know. I was frustrated I didn't break 170.TheWalkingDebt wrote:That's a great score. 169 on the J07 test is basically like a 172-173 on a normal -12 curve.
