I haven't started it yet, but it's basically all the level four questions. I'd get it if I were you. Good warm up.YeezusPiece wrote:Does anyone have experience with the Cambridge Most Difficult packet for LR? Does it have a good mix in terms of the types of questions? I'm thinking of getting this, hoping that it will cover all the bases. Too cheap to buy all the questions by type.

Hey schmelly! Thanks for checking in with us. I'm feeling really great about my plan for this retake. If I come within 4 points of your score, I'll happily sacrifice my first born. How's waiting on apps? Is it worse than LSAT waiting?

Ah, the Sept '14 166. So classic, it's almost a cliche. It's OK, you're in good company.gatesome wrote:took PT 73 today (september 14) ... i was originally signed up to take the real thing but withdrew b/c not applying this cycle so was fun to take as a PT

Yeah, seriously, wtf was it about this test? This test was deceptively difficult. Is it just me, or have the last few tests been a little different, esp in terms of LR?GreenTee wrote:Ah, the Sept '14 166. So classic, it's almost a cliche. I almost ran out of time on RC but the last passage (comparative) was straight out of a philosophy of law class I took in UG, and I had literally read the source material (Nozick's entitlement theory, aka justice in acquisition and justice in transfer). Rushed through it but still only 4/6.YeezusPiece wrote:Yeah, seriously, wtf was it about this test? This test was deceptively difficult. If not through my prep course (so proctored classroom), I either PT using the 7sage app at home or public library. I should start implementing Starbucks though.monadologist wrote:Hey, where do you guys usually write your PTs?

I'm going to post tomorrow's agenda so I feel more motivated!
-30 Strengthen of varying difficulty. Will try to aim for 40ish minutes.
-30 Weaken of varying difficulty. Will try to aim for 40ish minutes.
-6 RC Passages, first 4 in 35 minutes, last 2 separately throughout the day 8:45 minutes each.
-4 LG (BP calls these Profiling Games, for example, Stain Glass Window of PT 62)
-If I'm still alive, I want to drill MBT/MSS's Level 1's at least.

Nice! heres my plan for tomorrow, its a PT day so drilling is super light:nlee10 wrote:I'm going to post tomorrow's agenda so I feel more motivated!

LG -
4 Advanced Linear (Elapsed time, will redo if over 8:00 or -1+)
Redo PT 43 G3
LR -
25 from Cambridge Difficult LR
LR2 PT 28 (Timed/BR)
LG PT44 (Timed/BR)
RC:
PT20
PT 58 with LR1 from PT20
-
Today was a drilling day, drilled 15 games and 4 LR sections.
I'm still not perfect on undetermined assignment games but starting to get it. I'm using Manhattan's Open Board, its clunky as fuck
but I think it's too late to change major strategy at this point, takes a lot of up front time but the questions go by quick so I'm usually under 8 mins but I miss 1 or 2 at times.
Last PT was PT34 and scored everyones favorite score - 166.
Good luck to everyone PTing tomorrow!

Pretty sure canceling 24 hrs before is fine, as in it doesn't show on your LSAT report. However, if you told schools to expect/hold for a Dec. score, then sure, I guess they will know you canceled. I don't see how it would reflect poorly. Depends on the score you're applying with, I would think. I'm not a sexy former Penn Dean though.Peta wrote:Anyone know?Peta wrote:If I register for the December LSAT and decide to cancel my registration within the next few weeks, would a school at which I'm waitlisted be able to see this and look at my application less favorably as a result?

Yerp. Was just coming here to post this. If you withdraw before the deadline, it doesn't count as a take, and nobody will ever be able to see that you withdrew.Dirigo wrote:What you're referring to is technically referred to as a withdrawal, and schools will have no way of seeing you withdrew. You can withdraw without a paper trail--so to say--up until midnight of December 5th.Peta wrote:Anyone know?Peta wrote:If I register for the December LSAT and decide to cancel my registration within the next few weeks, would a school at which I'm waitlisted be able to see this and look at my application less favorably as a result?
A cancel is when you cancel your score after already sitting for the test. Schools will be able to see that.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
