Took a free Kaplan test today and all I can say is wow. I've come a long way, but I'm no where near where I want to be come December. I'm off to drill.

So far today worked a little bit in the trained. Chapters 30 and 31 and then drilled L1 and L2 parallel reasoning q's. Went perfect. Now going to take an hour break and do trainer chapters on RC as well as do a few times passages.

Took PT 60 this afternoon using a section from PT 39 as my experimental. Scored 173. LR is really starting to come together but I still suck at parallel questions

Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
Drilled Parallel Reasoning today, Level 3 and 4 questions. went perfect for the 3's and missed 4 for the 4's. Overall i missed 4 total for the overall 71 questions. WIll do a review on the wrong answers and then do some drilling of principle (apply) questions.
Probably will also do a section of RC today too. PT starts back up next week. Super (not) excited haha.
Edit: Dasani, which PT?

Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
For the people who have already graduated and are taking in December: are you waiting til you get your scores to start the applications? Is it better to have an incomplete app and let them wait for our scores or to wait until we have our scores to start the application? I know this thread isn't about this but I really wanted to know what you guys (specifically) are doing.

Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
I'm writing in December and plan on submitting applications as soon as possible. That's the only disadvantage to writing the LSAT in December is that most institutions have a rolling admissions system and they will receive my LSAT score later than the competition.dasani13 wrote:For the people who have already graduated and are taking in December: are you waiting til you get your scores to start the applications? I'm planning on having it all ready to go and then all i'll need to do upon receiving the score is click.

I think I'm going to apply to most of them after October, and then in December I may throw out a few hail mary apps if my score merits it.

Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
I've done everything w/r/t applications except LSAT score and I think it doesn't matter. You're not complete until you have a score so whether it's now or during the waiting period of receiving your score, there's no difference.dasani13 wrote:For the people who have already graduated and are taking in December: are you waiting til you get your scores to start the applications? Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
Might as well check in here, as it's looking likely that I'll postpone to December.
I've been fluctuating between 167-173, which just doesn't give me confidence in my ability to hit 170+ on the real test. Took PT 62 RC today and went -8. Didn't bother finishing the other sections. It's late and I made some silly mistakes, but it's pretty apparent that I still have a long way to go.

Just take it in December, bro. I'm right around that range myself and I think that if I would have rushed and taken it in October I would be setting myself up for a retake regardless.janderson wrote:Might as well check in here, as it's looking likely that I'll postpone to December.
