I agree Lol those numbers look like BS to me. No way NYU, Columbia and I think even GT are that low. Duke and UVA are phenomenal schools, but I think they should be lower and NYU & Columbia should def be much higher.Alexandros wrote:Idk but they seem to be using weird arbitrary measures that don't make much sense.dj9i27 wrote:I don't see how mich is 13 and is jumped by berk and CLS is 9.Alexandros wrote:I feel like this ranking system would be useful for the lower-ranked schools but less so for better ones. also ATL is annoying and wrong about most things.dj9i27 wrote:me rnAlexandros wrote:BREAKING: NYU no longer t14.TWiiX wrote:As if the Tree-dream wasn't impossible enough already, ATL just ranked them number 1 over Yehlol and Chicago. Anyone take PTA and think that the RC was really easy? I've typically struggled a bit with RC (usually rushing through the last passage and having to more or less guess on 4 or 5 questions) and my average is about -6. I went -0 on RC for PTA, was pretty shocked.
Also, LG was a bitch.

Re: The Official September 2017 Study Group
Alright, so I applied back in November with my September LSAT score. No big deal. Then I signed up for the Feb LSAT last second. In the interest of disclosure and because I wasn't sure if schools were automatically notified, I let schools know that I was taking the test again, but not to hold my application for the new score. It went smooth for most schools. One school messed up and put my app on hold, but then contacted me the next day and explained their mistake and that they would remove the hold. Another, the one in question, put my app on hold in spite of recognizing that I did not want that to happen. They wouldn't remove the hold. Well, they took me off hold when the new scores came out in March. I sat around for a decision for awhile. Then Around March 20th or so they placed my app back on hold. A few weeks later they waitlisted me. And then just recently they accepted me off the waitlist and offered a below market scholarship, and when I tried to negotiate they tried to make themselves sound wayyyyy cheaper than they were and that their employment was on par with Duke. Used a few specialty rankings like a TTT would. Whatever.Anon-e-miss wrote: You've definitely piqued my interest
Also, rewind back to the week I applied, and I interviewed with an alumni that went to my UG and then to their LS. He had just graduated and was working in PI/Gov or something. When I talked about corporate work and what I was interested in, he was completely a dick about how I shouldn't go into law. Put a sour taste in my mouth

What would have been enough money to make you seriously reconsider? LSN makes them appear quite conservative in regard to large schollyschargers21 wrote:AlrightAnon-e-miss wrote: You've definitely piqued my interest

At this point, a lot. My numbers pulled a fully there for at least 1 person this cycle, so getting half seemed really low. Like, the COA for me would have been like max 15k cheaper than DukeAnon-e-miss wrote:What would have been enough money to make you seriously reconsider? August would be a really convenient time to offer it. Plenty of time to study just after classes get out in Maypresidentspivey wrote:Mediocre. I'll take a shot in the dark and guess April and August?USayinBoalt wrote:Spivey with the breaking news, fam

Yes! End of August would be perfect. I don't like the idea of LSAT overlapping with university, lol.chargers21 wrote:August would be a really convenient time to offer it. Saw this coming a mile away. Glad I'm applying this coming cycle before the unknowns (namely unlimited test takes, more test times, and the GRE explosion) start really impacting admissions.USayinBoalt wrote:Spivey with the breaking news, fam
