if done, it would be a retake.Big Red wrote:Would this be a retake or your first sit?floridabound wrote:hey, guys... was previously just a lurker. wondering--do you plan to apply for fall 2015 application cycles taking this exam?
would really appreciate responses-im quite panicky, thinking that taking the exam this late is a bad move.
thanks!

I am going on vacation for 17 days, so I guess my many packets of drills and some PTs are coming with me.mist4bison wrote: How are you guys dealing with Christmas? Is anyone else visiting home? I'm going to be there for two full weeks. Not really sure how to fit in studying :/ I was thinking of just bringing a few older PTs and doing sections when I have the time. Maybe I'll bring a binder of drills and PTs.

just take a bunch of stuff... print out some drills, a few PT's and there ya go. they don't take up too much space, if you have time to do it then you have it already printed to do, and if u don't get to most of it you can look at all you brought and didn't do and feel guilty and let that motivate youmist4bison wrote:Blehhhhhhhhhh.JackelJ wrote:I am going on vacation for 17 days, so I guess my many packets of drills and some PTs are coming with me.mist4bison wrote: How are you guys dealing with Christmas? Maybe I'll do a PT on the plane rides? But it'll be 7pm when I leave the east coast and 7am when I leave the west.

Taking a PT on the plane will be the ultimate distraction test. The air cabin noise, other passengers, and not to mention those small ass trays.mist4bison wrote:Blehhhhhhhhhh.JackelJ wrote:I am going on vacation for 17 days, so I guess my many packets of drills and some PTs are coming with me.mist4bison wrote: How are you guys dealing with Christmas? A PT on the plane is the plan for me. I haven't taken one since September so it'll be interesting to see how that goes.nlee10 wrote:Taking a PT on the plane will be the ultimate distraction test. Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
I go through a lot of mental inertia when I try to do a game for like the third or fourth time, anyone else experience that? I am trying to get a perfect score on the LG section and following JY's method of repeating them..any advice for perfecting the technique? Or would I be better off doing a number of different games?

Yeah, timing them. Mostly repeating the ones I spent more time on than required (taking 7 minutes as the standard for easy games and 10 for the difficult ones). Not really limiting myself to the ones in which I got the setup or the questions wrong, even repeating the ones I got right. I guess I am just too impatient to follow this system. So I was wondering if doing a number of different games works just as well?mist4bison wrote:I've never repeated a game, so I guess not a great person to answer, buttttt...are you doing them timed? Easier or harder? I don't have the cambridge bundles. Have been using the Blueprint material to drill.mist4bison wrote:I mean, if you're repeating the same game you should definitely be improving time-wise on that game. For me, improving my time was just a matter of practice. Have you drilled all of the cambridge packs (1-38)?j907 wrote:Yeah, timing them.
