Also, I'm going to be in the same boat as you because I've done 25+ PTs. I'm saving up on the most recent PTs to do closer to December but I'm stressing out over not "trying that hard" for Saturday =\.

wanna get at least once a week... Saturday is my only day off so I tend to use that but might get a 4-section pt in on a weekday or so (like I might do now)

Thanks for the LG explanation, though I got the set-up pretty fast while doing the game. I was just not sure whether to draw in all the possible worlds. I started to but didn't end up writing an exhaustive list of all.

I have the book for 29-38. Should I do 29-38 and 68-72 by December or is there a reason to do 39-52 instead of 29-38? Or should I just drill those?

So I just started drilling a few of the Cambridge packets. How do you guys go about drilling these? Do you do them untimed, determine an acceptable timing level based on the difficulty of the question, etc? When I take timed PTs, I struggle with timing in LR and RC, so I'm worried that I'm reinforcing bad habits if I were to drill the packets untimed. Any thoughts?

Just did all of PT24 LG for kicks:
Didn't miss any questions.
Timing:
G1 = 4:20
G2 = 3:52
G3 = 13:04 (ouch!)
G4 = 8:22
Total = 29:42

Becoming super efficient with easy games has definitely helped me by freeing up more time to do the harder games.

Oh wow! That's really impressive. I want to get down to 3:52 minutes per game!

What are you PT'ing at currently? As far as I know, I heard the LG in the 40's got a bit "easy".

Unfortunately, high 150s and low 160s.

What I do is get the total number of questions per type and divide them by 4. That I have 4 equal number of drill sets to do per question type. First set is used to practice on before a prep test. Second set is to work on weaknesses and to continue drilling in general. Third and fourth set the same as the second set. Then after I'm done using that and hopefully done with all the reading materials I have. I will use PT 29-38 sections of each test in between non - PT'ing days to drill/practice timing/get used to the questions being mixed together. Even though I drilled 29-38 in the cambridge, there's no way your going to remember the answers entirely by time you get to this point (unless you have sherlock holmes memory!). It's all about PT'ing, Drilling, and Blind Review in my honest opinion.

So, essentially, it comes down to using the easier questions for warm up, and the more difficult ones to target your weaknesses. I've been doing something similar. For LR, I target question types based on my weaknesses during PTs. For RC, I'm just going through them to solidify/standardize a strategy that works for me. But do you time yourself while you are drilling the packets? And if so, how?
