Re: The Official February 2011 Waiting Thread
At least you will get your scores at a sane hour. Due to time zones and where I am, I got my December score @ 03:30 AM. Yeah I was up of course, since the thingie went grey at 11:00 or something PM.

What is the ETA (central time) for friday?
Sorry if this already been addressed on this thread. I haven't read the whole thing.

I didn't think they released the scores in any particular way (geographical region, high/low scores...)

Re: The Official February 2011 Waiting Thread
I've read in a few places that there is no rhyme or reason to the batches they release the score in. Not location, not score, not name alphabetic or otherwise. They do come in four or five (at least) different waves throughout the day and into the night. In October mine came at 7pm or so pacific time. Don't do the sit at the computer and refresh all day thing trust me I had a terrible day when I did that, not good for the nerves. Fights with significant others and family members will ensue.

I don't mean when will the scores in the central time zone be realized. Rather, at what time on Friday should I expect my score? This "time" of course depends on which time zone one uses. So I threw the central time zone out as a standard we could use so as not to be confused.stilles wrote:I didn't think they released the scores in any particular way (geographical region, high/low scores...)

What everyone is saying is that there is no time when you can expect your score.joeljohnson wrote:I don't mean when will the scores in the central time zone be realized. My dad told me the other day that he had a dream that I got a 176 and was very excited. I already know it's a cool story.

Wow... actually had a dream last night kind of about the LSAT like many of you...
Something about the space shuttle getting into an accident on its return to earth ( :/ )... then I got home and scored 1 point higher on the LSAT... curve was like -8.

My LSAT is "temporarily on hold". I called LSAC and they said there was a hold placed by Test Administration and they were waiting for information from the test supervisor. One of my friends took it at the same location, and there isn't a hold on her test. What is going on??
Edit: The hold was removed 30 seconds after I posted this. Wow.

Just refused a great finance job this morning that would've required me to stay in more than one year so I could apply for LS next fall. Now falling back on those low-paying backups for the transition year...
I guess I'm diving in head first into this world; need that 171+ and subsequent T20 more than ever now. come on Friday.

Maybe you did a lot better than the last test and they wanted to check into it? That's what I would think... But then again I'm an eternal optimist.kcdc wrote:My LSAT is "temporarily on hold". Holds are usually because of test center irregularities/misconduct.

Re: The Official February 2011 Waiting Thread
I have heard of a few people having their LSAT on hold due to significantly higher score. Example: 160 to 1808675309 wrote:Haha yeah I know. Somebody posted a link to a thread from the DEC'09 test awhile back I'm still feeling good about, apparently the curve on that one ended up -14 and just about everyone swore it would be somewhere between 8 and 12.....Not that we'll ever know but if we somehow got a -14 on the Feb test I'm almost sure I'll be feeling good about life this weekend....

Fucking smartphone. Every time my email notification goes off I flip out and check it immediately. Then I see something like "Facebook: _______ commented on your status." I am about to downgrade to a flip-phone with no internet for the next day and a half.

I got it as well. I hate getting trolled by schools. It happened the day the December scores got released (and from Florida Coastal as well).kulshan wrote:Who else got that awful email from Florida Coastal this morning with the subject: "LSAT results to be released soon"? How often is that going to happen between now and Friday? o.O

I still don't think the curve on that test makes any sense, it was one of the few 180's I got on practice tests, and if you're good at in/out games, the games section was a breeze, since there were 3.benito wrote:Somebody posted a link to a thread from the DEC'09 test awhile back I'm still feeling good about, apparently the curve on that one ended up -14 and just about everyone swore it would be somewhere between 8 and 12.....Not that we'll ever know but if we somehow got a -14 on the Feb test I'm almost sure I'll be feeling good about life this weekend....
But yeah, I remember pretty much everyone thought it would be -12 at best, maybe -10.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
