My proctor didn't say anything about writing in cursive. Is that something I need to call LSAC about? I almost wrote in cursive anyway because I had this nagging feeling in the back of my mind, but decided against it because it takes me forever and I'm not even sure I remember how to make all the damn letters.

lol, I was literally the last person in the room of about 40 people to finish that thing. all that damn cursive tired out my hand as well.

Well..... 2 minutes into that part, this girl blurts out:

"I DON'T KNOW CURSIVE"

....It kept everything in me not to burst out laughing. The proctor then proceeds to tell her to just print it.

I was also amazed at how many people didn't bring wrist watches or some sort of timer.... Well you can tell the serious ones from the rest....Smh...

TBF, if you're regularly PT-ing with a good 5-10 minutes left at the end of every section and still getting a good score, what's the point of bringing a timer? Not having a timer =/= not serious about the test, IMO.

And I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that the fact that someone didn't write it in cursive will actually change/have any sort of effect on their score.

I didn't write the statement in cursive in December and got my score back on time, but my handwriting is so bad it might have passed as cursive, haha.

By the way, I didn't write in cursive last time I took the test, nothing happened. Proctor didn't mention cursive. That word sounds weird, haven't used it in so many years. Cursive.

As I have mentioned at least once before, I had a teacher friend who didn't care at all about the results who wrote, "LSAC sucks balls," and nothing happened.

Well, since it was an objectively true statement, perhaps they didn't feel they had cause for action.

Also, this is the first time I've ever heard about writing the statement in cursive. I don't even know cursive anymore, and it didn't affect my score report at all.

I think the old PTs specified cursive but the most recent tests didn't. Obviously someone realized no one can do joined-up writing anymore!

I didn't expect to have anything to add on here, but...

- before we got started, one guy asked the proctors, "So wrong answers don't count against us, right?" Lol!

- during the break, another guy walked up to the proctors and asked them when the next break would be!

When I took the test a few years back, I think it said to write the statement in your "ordinary handwriting" or something to that effect.

One lady at my testing center said that she didn't know there were five sections.

Also, the proctor did not kick people out for having cell phones. Instead, he asked people who had them to place them on a table up front. None of the women in my test room had them, but ALL of the guys did.
