Any credence to the notion that law schools see scores before we do?

Re: The Official February 2010 Waiting Thread
I feel like even if they had it yesterday evening, all ready to go out, they would still wait to have it go out till today. They might just not want to set a new expectation of 19 days or lower by releasing even earlier than Friday.christopher1108 wrote:It makes sense that if they had everything ready yesterday evening when they left, they would have sent scores then. It was pretty obvious that they were going to be closed today. I realize everything doesn't always have to make sense, but just maybe this won't and they will send them out today

Anyone else staying optimistic? I'm predicting a late afternoon status change.
That will be just enough time for me to shovel my driveway and organize my applications. Maybe even a nap. I've been refreshing non-stop since 5:30AM and am officially exhausted but will not give up hope!

Yes, I think you should start calling your schools and demanding they tell you what you got.invisiblesun wrote:Any credence to the notion that law schools see scores before we do?

The LSAC office is closed, but with technology today, they could certainly be working from home. Just a thought.jks289 wrote:I don't think there is any doubt the score release is automated. Can you imagine the work otherwise? I just think it is so unlikely they allow scores to go out with no one manning the computers to make sure everything is going correctly. I think maybe there is a small chance they come in Sat or Sun, but in almost all likelihood we'll be hearing on Monday. We've made it this far. Just think of it as a reason to look forward to a Monday!granger wrote:I'm certain they do! What does this mean?? Is it because I sent in a LOR...1. We have received a document for your LSAC file that cannot be processed until you register for the Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS). Please contact one of our Candidate Services Representatives at 215.968.1001 with any questions.

Re: The Official February 2010 Waiting Thread
I think we're pretty sure that if they aren't coming out today, then it will be Monday. It's an either/or. If someone is holding out hope after they don't come out today, then that's silly. It's either today or Monday. I won't post this weekend. At least that's what I think.WWAD wrote:At this point I am hoping the scores come out Monday. These posts are more enjoyable than my scores are going to be. Can you imagine the craziness by Monday?

I got an email when I woke up this morning and the subject was "LSAC_NOTICE..."
I thought, "here we go!" Turns out it was a email generated to verify the receipt of a LOR I am not going to use.
The email was sent at 4:35 AM.

So I wake up to my phone ringing at 6:07 am. It's another teacher calling to inform me that today will be a snow day. That means instead of the day going relatively quickly at work, I am sitting at home all day waiting for the score. Ugh. Anyone else snowed out of work?

Teachers call you on snow days? What kind of school do you attend? Mine sends out an automated email? If each teacher were to call each student (21,000), it would take all day.

OK so on my LSAT status page the icons changed to green, this happened to me when I took in June too the day they came out. This may be a good sign for scores today, but I'm an accommodated test taker so my situation may be different.
