I'm not looking forward to it, but it is necessary. I'm drilling 3 hours of a section every day, rotating the sections that I do every day, for the next 3 months. At this point I'm 99.9% sure I'm postponing to October.JackelJ wrote:The Abyss wrote:Today I'm drilling RC passages for 3 hours straight. That should be fun.sounds

but I should definitely be doing that since my RC still sucks

I think it's the best news and cultural criticism site available now. The NY Times is too hardcore, the New Yorker is too bourgeois, the Atlantic turned into SJW clickbait... it's the only one left.

You should read the articles you're interested in and then recycle. The political stuff may be outdated but I'm sure you'll find some things you'll like.Rigo wrote:Answer my question, RZnumbers.

Nah. I like the Economist. I prefer Foreign Policy by a wide margin, though. And Int'l Crisis Group beats both, but has a different purpose.RZ5646 wrote:Am I the only one here who reads the Economist for fun?

Just did a timed RC section. Nothing more frustrating than realizing you changed THREE right answers to wrong answers.
I've had this habit since I was young. Obviously some underlying test-taking confidence issues there

Welcome. Just post questions, blog your progress, and/or come here to relax and bond with others in the same situation. It's really whatever you make of it.crackingthelsat wrote:Hello everyone, I am new here. How does this study group work?

First of all, there's almost no actual studying (not that I didn't try though). This thread is more for entertainment and moral support.crackingthelsat wrote:Hello everyone, I am new here. How does this study group work?

"Deer leader" will earn you instant good will from others though. Take your pick. Your TLS social life depends on it.

I'm surprised how vibrant this group is
what magazines/books do you guys read in preparation for RC besides the Economist?

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
I don't read anything specifically for LSAT prep but I think everyday reading is helpful. Many students don't read anything longer or more complex than a tweet or buzzfeed listicle, so just reading the newspaper or random novels puts you ahead of a lot of test takers.crackingthelsat wrote:I'm surprised how vibrant this group iswhat magazines/books do you guys read in preparation for RC besides the Economist?
