I agree with Rigo. The legal internship would be fun. But money is king. You can do legal internships in law school.
ETA: and I haven't moved to the re-takers thread cause I'm not even taking. I've just stopped posting.

I meant that since they moved there's less to respond to. My posting has also slowed because there's no conversation here anymore.Dr. Nefario wrote:I agree with Rigo. The legal internship would be fun. But money is king. You can do legal internships in law school.

There's not really conversation over there either. TLS is hibernating.RZ5646 wrote: I meant that since they moved there's less to respond to. My posting has also slowed because there's no conversation here anymore.

End of cycle hibernation. One class leaves, another enters. It's a beautiful cycle.Rigo wrote:There's not really conversation over there either. For any of you guys that did PT 50, LG (Section 3), #12-17
Did you do it as tiered or one layer sequencing? Can't figure out which method is better to approach this problem.

I always want to help people who post questions about specific questions (I enjoy teaching and think it's very helpful) but I don't want to look at questions I haven't encountered yet. Gotta keep those PTs fresh.

Emotional day at work today. Finished a 13 month long assignment at the client's office. Now back to the company office. Everyone took me out for lunch, and people gave speeches!

You're still a junior right? Do the research position this summer and try for the legal internship next summer in between graduation and law school. Keep him as a contact. If he got you the internship then he's probably a pretty cool dude. Be polite about it like Rigo said and it'll be fine.RZ5646 wrote:Maybe you guys can help me with a dilemma: I committed to doing a legal internship at home this summer, but I've just been offered a fairly nice summer research position by my college. The latter would likely lead to a nice letter of recommendation, give me a small pile of money, and also help with my apartment hunt (long story: my ideal apartment wants someone for this summer + next year). But if I go back on the internship I'll obviously be burning a bridge. I'm conflicted.
I know I've been an asshole to you guys but I need some honest advice.
What kind of research is it out of curiosity?

Re: The Official June 2015 Study Group
68 days until the test, and I'm pretty worried about my progress. I'm still scoring on average about -6 on each section regardless of which type (with the every now and then terrible performance on a section of -11 or -13). It's been pretty easy-going at work, but the workload is starting to pick up and I might not have so much free time to study during the day anymore. Studying while tired in the evening is really damaging my performance, and I can't even concentrate.

I did some complex ordering games yesterday and went -2 over 8 games. Did fine with time, but the 2 questions I missed were really dumb mistakes.
Today I'm drilling RC passages for 3 hours straight. That should be fun.

I actually kinda enjoy RC because I feel like I'm learning things. Information from RC passages has been relevant in real life conversations.

I have a large stack of Economists collecting dust since I'm not using them and won't be using them for RC purposes.
Wondering if I should just save them all or read them now and recycle before I leave.
How out of date do the articles get? No more than RC passages, no?
