There definitely is one. Mine is in the back.

It took him 22 minutes to explain it which is uncommon so I'm guessing it's at least an 8 or 9 minute game.
Just did this game a couple days ago.
Since there's 7 questions, 8-9 minutes is alright I guess.

Was just waitlisted at my stretch school. Getting back into hardcore study mode now in hopes the June LSAT punts me into "accept".

I looked at this before and it's close to useless for my area. It's odd that with all the people on TLS who care about these things there's no good test center review site. There are certainly people out there who would contribute data.

All the major posters moved to the retakers group (coincidence?) and this thread died. (Thanks a lot Shak.)

I think having a separate thread for re-takers is important. You'll understand if you retake. Hopefully you won't have to! 8)

Maybe you guys can help me with a dilemma: I committed to doing a legal internship at home this summer, but I've just been offered a fairly nice summer research position by my college. The latter would likely lead to a nice letter of recommendation, give me a small pile of money, and also help with my apartment hunt (long story: my ideal apartment wants someone for this summer + next year). But if I go back on the internship I'll obviously be burning a bridge. I'm conflicted.

I know I've been an asshole to you guys but I need some honest advice.

Is the legal internship paid?

Nope. I'd need to get a part-time job, which wouldn't be super easy but not difficult either. I have a couple interviews lined up for when school ends.

Research is paid. I'm not sure if that's a reasonable excuse to renege though.

Plans change. Just take the research position.
Is this internship at a big company or with a family friend or what?

It's with a county law office (PD or DA). I got it by reaching out to a lawyer I met once a long time ago (networking rules the world) who seems like a genuinely nice guy so I would feel a little bad about burning that bridge. But the fellowship would probably help my application more, and in this economy you have to look out for yourself. As it stands right now, I think the availability of that apartment will decide this. If I can sign a lease on it before I have to officially accept the fellowship, I'll do that, since it will save me significant money next year.

Anyone want to offer a second opinion?

Oh don't sweat it one bit. This kind of stuff happens all the time and you aren't letting anyone down.

Does this lawyer work at the county law office or just put you in touch with the right people?

He works there. Dude has an interesting story: apparently he paid sticker at a Cooley level school, miraculously got a government job to forgive his loans, and loves his work. Exact opposite of the TLS narrative.

I would thank him for the opportunity but politely decline since you need the money and you were offered a paid research position.

It's not like he really went to bat for you or anything. He probably just told HR associate that you wanted an unpaid internship and they were like "sure whatever."

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
