After doing 8 RC Passages....I gave up and started rereading the LR Chapters in the The Trainer for the first time in months. Went over some of the sample questions and can't believe I got them wrong ~5 months ago.

For some reason, I do better on sequencing games than grouping games.

I don't mind sequencing... I just did the first problem set of spatial and didn't go so well lol had some trouble getting it all set up for most of them which ruined my flow of inference making

I like the spatial ones, probably because they come up less frequently so its not as dull. And nlee I do better on sequencing than grouping also, maybe its a BP thing?

PT today. Got basically exactly the same score/breakdown as on the December test. Not surprising, but also discouraging in a "is retaking even a good idea when it looks like I didn't underperform as compared to PTs" kind of way. Meh. I'm tired as fuck so I'll see if resting for a bit gives me the energy to review this PT today- otherwise doing it tomorrow before drilling.

You still have over 3 weeks. Review the PT thoroughly and see where you went wrong

hmm no idea. Probably just the way some people think in terms of LG. lol.

So....today's study agenda obviously failed. I'm going to be drilling more PT 40's by separated sections and then PT Wednesday and Saturday with a newer PT....at least that's the plan.

wow, so okay I change my opinion. Taken both sections as a whole (because every PT usually has one hard LR...) PT 30 is THE hardest LR I've ever done. Both are equally as difficult as the other. Usually, either there are easy LR (as was the case in PT 74) or there is one hard LR (Pt 73), but PT30 was incredibly difficult, and it resulted in my lowest PT in a long time.

LG-2 (33 minutes)
LR-7!!!! (32 minutes)
RC- 6...about average (34 minutes)
LR-5

166

I mean, I guess the curve was generous for a reason, but jesus I usually comine for 7-9 in LR, not miss 7 in a single section.

Worst PT in awhile, but oh well. Gotta get back in the swing of things, I guess

Tonight is a night to make chocolate chip cookies and drink wine in moderation as to not damage my already limited cognitive abilities and watch the Golden Globes. Tomorrow is a day to review and drill. Yes.

But she wouldn't let me back out of the February test, it was a good kick in the rear I needed.

Definitely feel this way, too. I need to start taking PTs under test day conditions again. I've been staying up pretty late, so I decided to see how I'd hold up if I woke up early (simulate not sleeping before test) and took a PT on a test day schedule and BOMBED, 163. On the one hand, I now no longer assume people who say they dropped 8+ points are lying, but on the other - am pretty scared about the retake now.

Hi nlee. :)

How's prep going for everyone? Happy studying! Ask away if you need help with anything.

After a few G&Ts and segz, I tried a LG with GT. I got one wrong because I derped out. But YAY I LOVE DA LOLSAT. I think I will hone this method and perfect it. For science. More updates later.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
