seriously, if you chose "going to law school" in the pole, you take life to seriously and are likely a humorless potato with no friends.

I got the BP RC book back when it first came out. I'm not much of a fan of marking up the passage, I feel like my flow is better when I don't do that. Don't get me wrong, it's a good book with helpful tips/strats, but it just wasn't really my style and I felt like I needed something else.34iplaw wrote:You can try out the Blueprint RC book. I've just started to read through it... although it's on my laptop so they keep referencing how long it is and I have zero idea how long it is! Either way, I haven't really gone through a books approach to RC yet.TheMikey wrote:THANKS, we all got this!! What method did you go for or what books did you use? I have the Manhattan one somewhere I think as well. I can't ever see myself actually writing down a web diagram or something at the end of a passage. I do tend to like to underline certain things (i.e. when the author first speaks if they do).TheMikey wrote:I got the BP RC book back when it first came out. I only had the BP RC book. I'm working with the 7sage memory method now though (with my own little kick of quickly circling names because I like to). It works really well, and it's a legit method, but I'm just an idiot so, lol.34iplaw wrote: What method did you go for or what books did you use? I have the Manhattan one somewhere I think as well. Too hungry. Leaving library after doing 35 two question stims [aka 70 old LR questions] and ended up with like 95/100 or something like that. Read through the first eight chapters of blueprint RC. Going to go get food, do some more double old LR questions while I sit there, and probably do a little more of the blueprint book before I go home.
TBH, not a fan of their main point section...I think they used kind of poor exemplars... I dunno... not an expert, but I certainly think listing a whole set of weird aspects of procreation provides support for the idea that it is unusual.

Did PT 40 LR 1 earlier. Went -3 and just finished BR for a -1. #10 is so freaking weird, I absolutely hate when the LSAT has one of those questions because I tend to not know what to really do with them since they're so rare.

Does anyone else have this experience? Like on my most recent PT, I could have sworn two were repeats from previous course material, but my instructor ensured me that they were not. They also were not Manhattan LR exemplars.
Like I was just doing an old 2x question per stim question, and it is the exact same as something I have seen before. Same concept and A/C...I just think it was a different obscure country.

Haha 100%. They always use certain things as exemplars for certain flaws. I can't count how many of the following questions I've seen...PhiladelphiaCollins wrote:-dinosaurs34iplaw wrote:I'm not certain whether it is because I have done *so much* LR at this point, but I swear that new questions are ones that I have seen before. I'm a boss at gambling. I find the high roller making mad bills on roulette, and I just copy their bets divided by 10+.proteinshake wrote:since you like gambling, there's a new Poker game called Prominence Poker on Xbox and it's good (and free).TheMikey wrote:Suitssss bitchesssss

Re: The Official September 2016 Study Group - WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS
So, I finished the first half of Principle (Identify) Questions and went 43/48 so -5 :/
So, now I am going to go and thoroughly review them. My goal for after going through the first half was do drill the games from a week ago, but I want to see my percentage of curriculum completed on 7Sage to go up lol. It's like an ego boost or something seeing that I completed a certain percentage. Sigh.
What I might do is try to finish the second half tonight or skip it entirely and go through my LR notebook and read up what I put in there. And maybe listen to a science podcast or watch a science documentary about lions, that's studying right?

omg yes WSOP was so fun but I'm just glad we at least have a playable poker game on the One now. did you know it's made by the same people?? they said on Twitter that they have a ton of updates planned so hopefully it ends up being better than WSOP.TheMikey wrote:Thanks for sharing but I played it midnight release xD I'm already level 11 with 24k or something like that lmao.its fun though, I liked the World Series of poker one that was free on the 360 better when it was around, ripproteinshake wrote:since you like gambling, there's a new Poker game called Prominence Poker on Xbox and it's good (and free).TheMikey wrote:Suitssss bitchesssss

I didn't know that, that's dope. I hope it ends up being similar to it. The only complaint i have is the whole flicking your thumb stick and then pressing A to choose to fold/call/raise. I'm lazy af and would prefer just 1 button not the extra thumb stick thing hahaproteinshake wrote:omg yes WSOP was so fun but I'm just glad we at least have a playable poker game on the One now. did you know it's made by the same people?? they said on Twitter that they have a ton of updates planned so hopefully it ends up being better than WSOP.TheMikey wrote:Thanks for sharing but I played it midnight release xD I'm already level 11 with 24k or something like that lmao.its fun though, I liked the World Series of poker one that was free on the 360 better when it was around, ripproteinshake wrote:since you like gambling, there's a new Poker game called Prominence Poker on Xbox and it's good (and free).TheMikey wrote:Suitssss bitchesssss

Does DeVry have a law school? That's the only place I see you making it with a botched post like that. LMAOamta wrote:seriously, if you chose "going to law school" in the pole, you take life to seriously and are likely a humorless potato with no friends.

Just finished PT58, gonna start BRing in a bit.
LR: -3
RC: -2
LG: -1 (Somehow got a Q1 wrong, complete brain fart)
LR2: -0
Experimental RC: -1
-6 -> 175
Not much to take away from this PT so far as the mistakes are made on a variety of Q types (1RRE, 1 Flaw, and 1Weaken), although I'm probably gonna try doing a full LR section and maybe a couple of games before my next PT to warm up - felt so much more confident from S3 onwards.
What's everyone's warm-up routine?

They want us all to get 140's. Some will accept defeat and head to Cooley on early decision. But not us, we are the ones who will break their psychotic system of what is the LSAT.proteinshake wrote:remember: THEY don't want you to get a 170+ LSAT score, so that's what we're gonna do

Started the day with a nice 40 LR questions (double question per stim type)
40/40 questions so far
going to peruse the next chapter of the blueprint RC a bit and try to see if I can find my Manhattan RC book (maybe I didn't get it, but I kind of doubt it... I think it was sold as a three pack). I tried the memory method, and, while it does seem to help, I think I want to refine/reinforce my basics a bit more before I start burning through more timed RC (granted, there are a literal ton so it's not that much of a worry)
