Re: The Official February 2015 Study Group
I was very fortunate with my LOR's. One is a professor who also happens to be the judge of the district who also happens to like me very much. He was pretty easy. The other one was a family friend who also happened to teach me. I only have two, and I'm not allowed to read them (LSAC doesn't let you access them) but I'm guessing (praying) they're positive.
Either way, they arent really relevant unless you're in an "all else equal" situation. Its your LSAT followed sorta closely by your GPA... a HUGE dropoff and then probably your PS or certain softs if you have them.

PS will probably be challenging too. I'm a very boring person.

I think mine will be pretty challenging to write. Thinking about writing on a particular subject that is sorta considered to be in a grey area. PM if interested.RZ5646 wrote:PS will probably be challenging too. I'm a very boring person.

Worked on my PS for 3 months. I went through 14 revisions, sent it to my UG's dean of english department, a Harvard student, a Texas student, my pre-law advisor, and my relative (lawyer at a top firm in Dallas). I feel like its very solid, but that's just a timeframe. Try not to put it off! Work on it here and there throughout the year when you have time

Mine was probably overkill, but you have to think, every law school lists it as something you can add to your resume, all of the deans talk about it when they take Q's on TLS, everyone on TLS posts for people to revise and edit their drafts... it must hold weight in the app process along with your numbers lol.

I just want all my acceptances but UT and WUSTL... lol. I'll be in everywhere, but those are iffy. UT doesn't hold, and I'm unaware of WUSTL does. But both have an appeals process if I do get dinged, so I'll be able to take this test and send in a quick appeal.leslieknope wrote:Finished the ones I'm not asking to be held for February results yesterday... ngl, the thing I want most out of this cycle is to hear back good things on at least one before February. It would be so much easier to not have a stress meltdown with at least one acceptance in my back pocket.ilikebaseball wrote: Getting away from the LSAT topic for a sec, how are everyones apps doing?

finished my LR BR... very disappointingJgoods wrote:so sadly didn't do too much today except the dual PT's and review some questions... planning to wake up and BR at least half the first PT b4 breakfast, and finish the rest and 7sage videos for ones I still have trouble with and then drill, tomorrow shall be an extremely productive day.... or else I shall take a TLS hiatus
2 I changed TCR to wrong AC :/ (though was very skeptical about doing so for 1 shouldn't have changed it, other was a wordy Parallel flaw)
made 2 wrong to TCR
and 2 were just wrong and unchanged... hoping the rest of my BR goes better than this -_-

I'm hoping to get a lot done today. Planning to get done 12 old RC passages, 8ish old grouping games, and review some past LR sections I've done this past week.

Beginning PT30. Hoping for -18 or fewer for now... Haven't even seen the curve for it. As I said yesterday, today begins the me where I'm not worried about getting a 13 or better curve, I'm just worried about things I can control, like how many I miss.
My goal is to miss:
6 or less in RC (If I do this on gameday, I'll be pumped)
5 or less in each LR (very doable, except for some reason on gameday I make stupid mistakes I shouldn't make)
2 or less in LG (usually, in PTs I go -0, but the earlier PTs have very tricky games)
hopin for da best

On the study side, I've been rereading LR bible this weekend. Hoping that improves my next PT. My LR tends to fluctuate the most between tests depending on the frequency of certain question types.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
