Good thinking! Think that's what I'm gonna do.ngogirl12 wrote:I would at least do the 70s and try to do the 60s if you can and use the 50s series for experimentals. Definitely though make sure you get the 70s in.

Poll is lacking the opportunity for multiple options.
I'm going to finish my statements after getting a spark of inspiration (I know that's not what is meant) from being a little (very) sauced on a flight to Vegas and cry when I spend all of my money on in flight entertainment and snacks.

Just wrapped up PT 70.
LR1: -2
RC: -4
LG: -1
LR2: -3
Score: 170
Did a heavy amount of RC Drilling over the weekend, and it paid off time-wise, but not question wise. I guess that is what BR is for

Do you think the upcoming tests (including the September administration) are similar to the PTs in the 60's? I feel that these are a little more harder than earlier ones.

I'm not sure. Before when I was PTing the only PT in the 60s I did was 65 and it seemed similar to PT's I had taken before.DoYouEvenTLS wrote:ngogirl12 wrote:I would at least do the 70s and try to do the 60s if you can and use the 50s series for experimentals. I think the late 60s might be more similar to the newer tests. If your in a situation where you can only take the 60s or the 70s, I would go with taking the 70s because you want to be in the mindset where your brain is acclimated to the newer material. That said, the LSAT tests you on the same information just in different ways. (Older LSAT's had a different way of testing the same concepts than newer LSATs). I personally have only seen LSAT material from 1-38, the 40s, and some of the 50s. I think the older LG are easier than the newer material (from my experience alone), but I have heard that the newer LG are very similar to the older LG.

Re: The Official September 2016 Study Group - WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS
So last night I finally got to Principle questions, YAY!
I ended up going 26/30 so -4 on Principle Apply questions, I would like to blame it on my fatigue lol but I wasn't really tired. That said, I did spend most of the day reviewing MOR questions.
So today: I'm going to review those four questions, read the chapter on Principle Example questions in Trainer, and start doing those questions. I'm scared, I don't know how I will do. Keeping my fingers crossed.

RC passage on prions... did not see the 'anti-bacterial' in answer choice 'E' or whatever that made it such a glaringly obvious choice....TheMikey wrote:WordPozzo wrote:Haha. Too true. Just got completely destroyed by PT 71 this morning. It's like I've completely forgotten how to do LR. Holy crap.
I think I'm going to take a little break from TLS so as to focus every second of my spare time on actual studying. Best of luck, y'all. We can get through this.

So, I had signed up but missed the Blueprint RC webinar (and subsequently watched it). I don't know whether the offer is only available to those who watched it (I don't think that is the case TBH), but you can get a free kindle copy of it on Amazon (I think it requires you to sign up for Kindle Unlimited, but you can always just cancel it after the trial.)
That said, they would appreciate (and you probably should!) if you leave an honest review of the product after using it. I'm going to power through it. I feel like my RC score has too much noise.

I can confirm it's available to all. Got the link via email yesterday.

So, I recently decided to postpone graduation by a year, so I'm feeling a lot less stressed about the test. Will retake in June if I get below a 172.

Re: The Official September 2016 Study Group - WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS
I'm not certain whether it is because I have done *so much* LR at this point, but I swear that new questions are ones that I have seen before. Does anyone else have this experience? Like on my most recent PT, I could have sworn two were repeats from previous course material, but my instructor ensured me that they were not. They also were not Manhattan LR exemplars.
Like I was just doing an old 2x question per stim question, and it is the exact same as something I have seen before. Same concept and A/C...I just think it was a different obscure country.

Did a heavy amount of RC Drilling over the weekend, and it paid off time-wise, but not question wise. I guess that is what BR is for.
Too tired after work to do well on a PT

Started at 5:45, finished the test, took a conference call, and then graded it.
Starting BR after work.
