PT 42 RC only
P1: 7/7
P2: 6/8
P3: 5/5
P4: 4/6
22/26

mehh, had a rough time sleeping so I'm somewhat happy with the result. Wish Feb's RC would be this tame.

PT 64
LR -2
LG -1
LR -4
RC -2
171

Much higher than I thought it would be. I literally got 3 or 4 LG questions right where I was just about guessing as time ran out. I also ran out of time on second LR section and missed the last 3.

The third game destroyed me - got lost in the inferences and made a couple mistakes and probably wasted 6-8 min. I can only imagine what a shitty feeling that would be on gameday.

I was stuck in bed with death flu all day Thur, forced myself to get up and PT yesterday anyway, and just finished BR, which seemed to take FOREVER this morning. I have so much to do for this test, need to force myself to PT again today instead of watching football. Back to work tomorrow.

I got completely destroyed by PT 72. Like WTF! What was that game all about? I'm surprised to have gotten even 3 correct on that game..
All the good feelings of last week has disappeared :(

its a crazy game just because of the dialogue. Like, once you figure it out, its easy and a breeze. But there are like 500 other ways they could've worded the stimulus to make it easier. IFIC, one of the LR's in that PT were very tough as well. RC was easy though. Still, that 13 curve is justified.

Ahhh I know :( I got a -5 on one LR section which is a huge drop from what I was averaging. The RC was relatively easy, but I found the comparative passage difficult. I think this was partly due to people asking me things, and then my dog decided that she wanted to start scratching/chewing at my window...AT that moment. so frustrating. But oh well, I get no excuses on the real thing.

that's crazy! 8 sections? Doesn't your back ache? lol My back starts to kill me which causes me to crave a beer after a full PT :)

I haven't drank for 70 days today  ... but with how stressed this damned test has me lately I'm thinking of taking one day and just getting completely trashed as a way to reset my stress level. I'm a very high strung person, and during the school year I usually work all week and then get drunk on the weekends so I can unwind. I'm starting to think this 70 day hiatus is just making me more tightly wound and taking one day off to just get drunk and unwind might do me justice...
haha I would hate to seem like I condone this, but I wouldn't mind doing this with you and making today our last day :) I'm pretty pissed about my score today :(

AND maybe we can start a reward system. Whenever we score 170+ we get to drink! lol

God I hate LG.
I just got used to it watching 7sage. I split diagrams whenever its easy. For example, i did a game yesterday that had a rule like:

"If T is not 2nd, it is 5th"

Well, that's incredibly easy to split. Same thing with

"X is either first or last"

When I get easy rules like that, I split it up, then go through every other rule to see if I can fill it in

I try to split the game boards whenever possible except when the possibilities are going to be more than 6. If its going to be more than 6, I just go straight to the questions.

ETA: LSAT is ruling my life. I just mentally translated my above statement into lawgic. lol

at the risk of sounding very nerdy, does anyone have any idea what type of pencil JY uses? He has some videos of himself taking the tests and I noticed that his pencil stays sharp the entire time...lol I wouldn't mind that. I'm currently using Ticonderoga, but I find myself using at least 2 sharpened pencil per section. So I have to sharpen 8 pencils every time LOL.

in saying this, is there a more efficient way to BR? I know you wont get exactly the same results, but what if you went through your test and marked the wrong answers? THen you could only go back to them?

Yeah, I've got one more LR to BR then I'm done for the day, however it was the experimental so I've already got my scaled PT score for the day and it is terrible beyond belief.

I want to get everyone's opinion on watching videos. Do you guys think its find to watch tv/videos/movies etc during this month. I feel like it makes me brain dead and unmotivated to continue studying, but is this for everyone? or what do you guys like to do during breaks?

i like to feel like i score decently high, lol. However, my first test I was very much like you. Sorta sciddish about every little thing. 2nd time I relaxed and just let things happen. The hard work will speak for itself, so don't be mentally ruining yourself before you even wake up in the morning. I gained 5 points the 2nd test. Just live your life like normal (although I'd recommend to stop the alcohol for now, as it kills brain cells and with a test that requires a high level of thought, why take the chance) and study.

I feel like I'm still not as consistent as I should be about when I make hypotheticals and when I just go off a main gameboard in LG. Sometimes I'll go back and be like "oh, this game would have gone much faster if I'd split it this way" and sometimes making the hypo would have been a waste of time. :/

Edit: lol should have refreshed the thread before posting. I know that feeling, gamerish! :|
