I read that alcohol is bad for your short term memory or something like that so I'm staying away from any alcohol until I take the exambiggestlawman wrote:Sup, babies!![]()

Who is drinking tonight? Who is studying tonight? And who is studying and drinking tonight?

If it's not non-alcoholic then I'm not drinking it.

I don't think alcohol has any positive effect, except socially. Not drinking is just good in general.lollsat wrote:I read that alcohol is bad for your short term memory or something like that so I'm staying away from any alcohol until I take the exambiggestlawman wrote:Sup, babies!![]()

Also, beer is gross and fattening. (Bring on the hate lol.)

Alcohol thins your blood which is a positive, but mainly only for the elderly. Outside of that, you're right. However, beer is awesome. Stouts, IPAs, Goses, Guezes, etcs are magically fermented awesomeness.RZ5646 wrote:I don't think alcohol has any positive effect, except socially. Are you seeing the gap between the premises and the conclusion in the stims for NA and SA questions?gamerish wrote:I... don't really know how to answer that. I looked at them for the first time today in chapter 3 of the MLR book so I'm not really familiar with them yet. I did about 20 questions and missed 6, all but one being necessary questions. I think might be in the kind of overarching generalness of the correct answers of a lot of necessary questions; they don't seem to spring directly from the conclusions themselves (which I have no problem identifying) but rather from more removed information in the stimulus that I instinctively want to dismiss as either being irrelevant or already stated/implied by the author. The Abyss wrote:What are you struggling with on them?gamerish wrote:Necessary/Sufficient LR questions. ETA: Thankfully (I guess?) there are 228 necessary assumption questions in the Cambridge bundle so I'll have plenty to practice on.

Seaworld eh? You're in my neck of the woods. Unless there's more than one Seaworld (which I don't think there is). There are some really good places to eat, particularly away from the chain-haven that is I-Drive near downtown Orlando.McJimJam wrote:Took my cousins and sibling to Seaworld today. I'm pretty sure they enjoyed it far more than me, but it was nice to have a day not spent worrying about school or the LSAT. I think when summer starts I'll give myself a full week before I full on hit the books for the test. Tomorrow, however, will be solely dedicated to LR drilling.

That was my qualifier too. I had no idea there was one in San Diego.Rigo wrote:Unless it's actually the San Diego Seaworld.TheWalkingDebt wrote:Seaworld eh? You're in my neck of the woods. I meant it sucks from more of an animal cruelty standpoint.
Legoland actually sucks. Avoid.

Legoland is only cool for really young kids. Like below age 8.McJimJam wrote:Ah, that was kind in the back of my mind the entire time. Almost went to Legoland once in London, was closed for some reason. Maybe divine forces were trying to save me from boredom.Rigo wrote:I meant it sucks from more of an animal cruelty standpoint.

I was also disappointed in the San Diego Seaworld. It's basically a fish zoo.

This is reason #1 for why I stick to whiskey and scotch instead of beerRZ5646 wrote:I don't think alcohol has any positive effect, except socially.
