Ok I asked this in the admissions section but since this has a lot of traffic and you guys are super duper helpful I'm just going to roll the dice and ask here as well...
Do I bring a Deans Certification letter to Dean's office or Registrar? Online it says "Simply send the form to the office which handles your transcripts and other official credentials". I'm a little confused. Can someone with experience just clear this up?
Also I got in trouble in school (nothing too crazy/bad like plagiarism, etc., just run-of-the-mill freshmen nonsense), so is it going to look super awful when the Dean has to write an explanatory thing? Whatever is on my C&F disclosure will match the Deans Letter so I'm assuming it'll be fine...?

How do you know if a school requires a Deans Certification Letter?

There's a helpful thread on this site. I would put the link but Im on a phone so it's hard to right now, but if you type in TLS Dean's Certificate it'll come up right away.
I need it for BLS and Cardozo. They only want it if you've gotten in trouble in anyway, but a few other schools want it regardless. Just have to look.

I have no idea. Try asking in the Applicant Compendium most of them have already applied so I'd assume you'd have better chances there.

So I have a theory on a release date(s) if anyone wants to hear my nonsense.
The last day for Dec. LSAT registration is this Friday, the 23rd. MAny people would take the Dec. LSAT (more money for LSAC) if they score lower than they want (and you should! I have blogged about this 100 times here is one:
http://blog.powerscore.com/lsat/should- ... -agree-yes). So it is in LSAC's best interest to get a score out this week, albeit likely late in the week because they like that it seem.
Just my 2 cents, expect change!
Mike

This is the first I'm hearing of this. I think I found the thread you were referring to
here but it's pretty old. Is that information still accurate? I don't have any C&F or academic issues but if it's still something I need to do I want to get on it as soon as possible.
Looked more into it.
For BLS you need one if you have gotten in trouble at your school, even something as minor as a write up in your freshman dorms.
For Cardozo, it seems to me that you submit this form if you plan to enroll once you've been accepted, etc.
Sorry to scare anyone I just came across this and I figured 1) I would ask and 2) if this applied to anyone else they'd get the ball rolling with this too

depends on if I'm at work or not, and if I score above or below what I'd like to get. Options are: coffee, champagne, or real pain (tequilla shots).
