Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
Got to agree with this too. At least for this LSAT. I rock at certain games and I'm terrible at others. The campus photographer game fell into the other category. >.<SupremaLex wrote:THIS!!! I bombed LG, thought RC was somewhat dense but nothing too crazy. But then again, unlike a lot of people, RC never came too difficult for me, whereas LG has always been much more of a battle for me.literarylawyer wrote:And that's exactly how I felt when I lurked through all 16 pages and saw your post.koala-fy wrote:I had the same test and all of this was TOTALLY me. Sped through the first two, which were fine, but then skipped to the fourth b/c it had 8 questions....didn't finish the 4th or the 3rd. SO frustrated.
Essentially finished LG, thinking "THAT WAS EXPERIMENTAL" over and over again...until I reached LR3 and all my hopes withered away...
Also...a pretty unabashed loathing for anyone who said LG was easy...but I take some of it back, because a lot of the "LG - easy" people said RC was hard. So maybe it's a strengths & weaknesses trade-off.

Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
Left the test feeling so much better than September:
LG- felt easy for the most part since I did the work up front. I froze on the first game for some odd reason which caused me to have to guess on the last 2 questions of the section
LR1- felt like one of the easiest I've had in a while..
RC1- a blurr....felt hard and didnt finish the last 4ish questions
LR2- felt more like an exp because I couldnt really get into a groove, but definitely felt about average for the 70's
RC2- wasn't awful. I lost focus at the beginning because i was rejoicing over the fact that the first one was experimental and consequently couldnt remember hardly anything in the first passage

Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
Hi.
I had
LR-moderate
LG-rugs
LR-super easy-extra time leftover
RC-Perfumes
LR-unusual & long questions stems
Can't remember which questions are in which LR sections. I still can't figure out which is LR experiential??? It sounds like even if you had 3LR that the order can be different. Can anyone who took 2LR mention if one section had unusual or long question stems?? LR3 seemed more difficult by far than the other two or is that because it's my fifth section?
Thanks.

Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
The proctors iphone message sounded off twice during second half of my lsat. I got distracted and had to correct my marks a few times!! I'm a blur now on the LRs but LR3 did have multiple uniquely worded questions. That's all I remember.
Other than that, I remember questions about dinosaur neck, Han purple, melatonin for elderly sample but don't know which section?? What stood out was that one section was easy, another was moderate, and last was hard with unusual wording for quite a few questions not just 1 or 2.

So I had 3 LRs, and I'm pretty sure I know which one's the experimental but for confirmation, does anyone with only 2 LRs remember a question about caterpillars or a question about computers and chess programs?

Oh, I'm sorry - are you suggesting that we start a PW sesh rn?Dirigo wrote:That's what mine was.tommypickles wrote:A girl's photo on her admission ticket was a selfie in front of a white wall. Did you model fashions while getting shot by a world renowned photographer?

Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
hey guys... i've been lurking since the minute i got home from the test in september, but haven't drank enough courage until now to post and make an account. for those of you that i recognize from some old posts in september threads (dirigo… specific shout out to you!), i thank you for posting things that encouraged me to retake the exam.
i scored a 169 in september and was thrilled. but i also knew that i could do much better. my preptest average went up by about 7 points in the past few weeks, and i honestly believe that the break from preptests, as well as a smarter studying strategy, made that happen. if you are are reading this (lurking or not) and have inkling to retake, feel free to pm me for advice.
anyways, what i'm reporting is no different than anything that has been posted, so i will keep it short-ish. this was my test breakdown:
1: LR… felt very easy. the LR sections I had all blur together, but by consensus it seems that this is not experimental
2: games…. instruments/ lithography /rug thread colors/ photographers at graduation… got through the rugs game okay, but photographers killed me. I usually am perfect in the games section, but I guessed on three here, even with 11 minutes to do this game. there's gotta be an inference I missed.
3: LR… more difficult. But I was distracted by my bladder… although it didn't help that my room at the TC didn't start the test until almost 10:00…………
4: RC… Perfume/"stealing thunder"/free will/Mexican Americans… I thought the comparative section (free will / determinism) was pretty difficult. The perfume section was just ridiculous but the questions were fine.
5: LR… they all blended together…. no clue which questions were in which section
The two LR questions I remember have to do with grapefruit and Han purple. Damn you Han purple. As long as the first LR counts, I couldn't care less which LR is experimental, but that's probably because I don't remember enough to differentiate the two.
BOTTOM LINE: Despite my nerves in September, this test felt more difficult. I think/hope I will be in the low 170s. The curve will be -13, plus or minus one.
PS - Hector and Teresa should figure out their damn summer themselves. What a stupid essay...
