Omg this is hilarious. Haha the LSAC is just like a giant iceburg waiting to sink us all.Holler wrote:15,000 people went into universities across the NE to take the LSAT. September was painful for me. This time I'm so not drinking. And I'm much more resigned to my current schools now than I was then. An increase would be completely awesome and I'm feeling it, but I don't want to be disappointed again

I'm certain they do! People have talked about getting scores at all time from 5:30 AM to midnight.Sammi wrote:I prayed to all the deities possible that LSAC has our scores on an auto-send mailmerge...

Re: The Official February 2010 Waiting Thread
One of my co-workers told me that they didn't start sending scores out until the afternoon last February. Being a December taker I CLEARLY remember waking up to my date being changed and getting an email around 12ish, but again....this was Dec.
Anyone know if the late afternoon February tidbit holds any water? Because that would be awesome.

I don't think there is any doubt the score release is automated. Can you imagine the work otherwise? I just think it is so unlikely they allow scores to go out with no one manning the computers to make sure everything is going correctly. I think maybe there is a small chance they come in Sat or Sun, but in almost all likelihood we'll be hearing on Monday. We've made it this far. Just think of it as a reason to look forward to a Monday!granger wrote:I'm certain they do! Pierre Bordieu was right: "The all powerful is he who does not wait but makes others wait. Absolute power is the power to make oneself unpredictable and deny other people any reasonable anticipation, to place them in total uncertainty by offering no scope for their capacity to predict."
... yep .... that sums up my feelings about LSAC and the possibility of early score release!

It seems in the past that although scores may have been released in the evening, that they score date on LSC website was changed early. Hate to say this, but my optimisticism has ran out!

When I took the Dec. 08 test the date NEVER changed on the LSAC website in the documents box. Even now, 1 year later, it still says email date 1/5. I don't remember the date I got it was not the 5th (a Monday) but a Friday.christopher1108 wrote:It seems in the past that although scores may have been released in the evening, that they score date on LSC website was changed early. Don't worry, I don't think it updated until around 2pm EST in June and September.christopher1108 wrote:It seems in the past that although scores may have been released in the evening, that they score date on LSC website was changed early. Hate to say this, but my optimisticism has ran out!

Of course, LSAC just caaaaaaan't simply clarify all of this by posting a notice of some sort on their Web page. And before anyone else tells me for the 23875th time that I should just read the official rules and see that, yes, March 1 is the only date promised and anything earlier would be a "bonus," LSAC is well aware that they traditionally release scores early and given the track record, recipients have no reason not to believe or at least hope the scores will be released the preceding Friday. To not address this is a bit odd of them, IMHO.

Oh you guys, holding onto that hope. Thinking the LSAC might come through for you. Is it too early to start drinking now? Can't focus on anything at all.

Re: The Official February 2010 Waiting Thread
Mine changed for September. The "Score E-mail Date" is listed as 10/16, which was indeed the Friday before the scheduled release. I don't remember when it changed though, probably when my score showed up in the box.Bruiser wrote:When I took the Dec. 08 test the date NEVER changed on the LSAC website in the documents box. Does anyone in this forum live near the LSAC building in PA? If so, could you let us know whether there are any cars in the parking lot? I know the office is closed, but I'm hoping a few staff members are present to help with the score release. It would restore hope that we'll get our scores today. PLEASE!!!

Re: The Official February 2010 Waiting Thread
It's been said before but to reiterate, with 99% certainty, the process is automated. December test scores were released when the LSAC offices were closed (on holiday break). There were people on the Dec 09 threads who had prior experience that corroborated the LSAC being open/closed had nothing to do with the score release. Sending someone to LSAC will just cause unnecessary inconvenience for them and possible false hope for you.

Re: The Official February 2010 Waiting Thread
It makes sense that if they had everything ready yesterday evening when they left, they would have sent scores then. It was pretty obvious that they were going to be closed today. I realize everything doesn't always have to make sense, but just maybe this won't and they will send them out today

At this point I am hoping the scores come out Monday. These posts are more enjoyable than my scores are going to be. Can you imagine the craziness by Monday?

You should buy a plane ticket and fly as close as you can to LSAC, then rent a 4x4 Jeep Wrangler at the airport to go on the surveillance mission with. But, don't let other people scoping out the grounds confuse your Jeep for an employee. Mass hysteria would certainly ensue.lawschool??? wrote:Does anyone in this forum live near the LSAC building in PA? If so, could you let us know whether there are any cars in the parking lot?
