When you skip tan, go straight to burn, two weeks later with the burn fading end up a "sorta tan... in the right light," and two days after that back to ghastly.

Ha! that's great. I'm doing my master's in TX, so we're both dead set against the south now too (no offense, die hard Texans)

For the nth time, Texas isn't the South!

I just tell people I tan very gradually...they might not notice but I do!! Also I get that pale phenomenon known as "summer freckles." Out by the pool one day and bam, freckles all over my face.
