Funny, my husband (also a teacher) ideally ONLY wants to be in NY or CA, though he's open to anywhere except the South (No offense Southerners! His views, not mine, not trying to start a war here!)slizerd wrote:midwesterngirl44 wrote:chicharon wrote:midwesterngirl44 wrote:

But I feel ya about having to choose because of a SO. His main thing is he doesn't want to be in NY or CA. So I'm not too terribly restricted

Quarter Scot/Irish (legitimately don't know, paternal great-grandfather was adopted, but had red hair), quarter Cajun, half Hungarian Jew.sollos wrote:Where my Celts at? We gonna take back England one of these days from them Anglo-Saxons.

When you skip tan, go straight to burn, two weeks later with the burn fading end up a "sorta tan... in the right light," and two days after that back to ghastly.Sera Numquam wrote:I can't either! #foreverpalecphtexas wrote:I got some of those too!! Just got an email from Iowa! It's on my (way too long) list of places to apply, so I'm taking this as a good sign!

I just tell people I tan very gradually...they might not notice but I do!! Also I get that pale phenomenon known as "summer freckles." Out by the pool one day and bam, freckles all over my face.TheProdigal wrote:When you skip tan, go straight to burn, two weeks later with the burn fading end up a "sorta tan... in the right light," and two days after that back to ghastly.Sera Numquam wrote:I can't either! #foreverpalecphtexas wrote:I got some of those too!!
